I just looked at some possible picks spider charts and Desmond King tested in the 94th percentile for safeties. He's the exact same height and one pound lighter than Earl Thomas was at the combine. He's a great tackler and has great instincts at corner. I believe he's a captain on a great team. TD and DQ could be licking their chops.

Well, we were at least at Iowa's Pro Day (every team was) but I doubt we'll draft King or Kittle since we didn't interview or workout either. :/

Keep an eye out for these guys. I can pretty much guarantee at least one or two of our four remaining picks is going to come from this list:

RB Marlon Mack - USF = 4th Round

RB Brian Hill - Wyoming = 4th-5th

RB Elijah McGuire - ULL = Projected Round 6th

WR Isaiah McKenzie - UGA = 5th

WR Robert Davis - Georgia State = 6th

TE Anthony Firkser - Harvard = UDFA

TE Eric Saubert - Drake = 6th

OC Cam Keizur - Portland St = 7th-UDFA

OC Max Halpin - Western Kentucky = UDFA

OG Danny Isidora - Miami = 3rd

OG  Isaac Asiata - Utah = 3rd

OG Aviante Collins - TCU = 7th-UDFA

OT Adam Bisnowaty - Pitt = 4th-5th

OT Connor McDermott - UCLA = 4th-5th

OT Julien Davenport - Bucknell = 3rd-4th

DL Keionta Davis  - UTC = 6th-7th

DT Grover Stewart - Albany St = 5th-7th

EDGE - Samson Ebukam - EWU = 5th-6th

EDGE - Joe Mathis - Washington = 5th

ILB Tanner Vallejo - Boise St = 6th-7th

CB/FS Brandon Wilson - Houston = 6th

S Donald Payne - Stetson = UDFA

I didn't think we had 30 on that visits list, so I'm sure there might be some that aren't public.

I think there's a very, very good shot we pick one or both of Ebukam and Mathis in the 5th (or even 4th with one depending on who's there)

But I had Mathis as a 2nd rounder if he didn't have the injury and Ebukam as a late 3rd so what do I know :D

And hey, yeah, there's Donald Payne, didn't think his workout was very common knowledge for some reason. Thought it was under wraps. Like him a lot too really late, but wonder if he and Halpin can be our UDFAs. Asiata fits as well. Have heard Saubert's name but haven't watched.

UPDATE: watched Saubert, drops galore

I think we are done with EDGE and ILB players, but I included them on the list in case the Falcons just can't pass them up when they are on the clock. But if we somehow ended up with another EDGE, I think that could spell trouble for either Clayborn or Reed. From a financial standpoint it would make much more sense to cut Clayborn then; but from a football standpoint it would make more sense to keep Clayborn and cut Reed. Like I said, I doubt it happens, but it would be interesting to see that situation unfold.

Depends how much of a LB type they are too, though. Ie if we went with Mathis or Avery Moss, I feel like Clayborn would be in more danger, but with Ebukam I'd think more about Reed being iffy.

Not really. Our 4 EDGE rushers last year were Beasley, Clayborn, Freeney, and Reed. We pretty much always carry 4. Takk replaces Freeney. If we add another then Reed or Clayborn will have to go.

Using our 4th and one of the 5ths in a trade up to early 4th is a good possibility....

i think OT, OG, FS, DL are the picks

OT- Davenport, Bisnowaty, McDermott, Tevi

OG- Levin, Collins, Keizur, Halpin

FS - Ford, Jackson, Myrick

DL - Rochell, Davis, Taylor

If I'm mocking it:

4. Julia'n Davenport

5. Rudy Ford

5. Isaiah McKenzie

5. Corey Levin

Lol. I just hope we get a FS

Amen KoG...me too!  We need improved instincts, speed and ball-hawking from our FS.  Can't always be a step late covering over top.

Yeah, but I bet you that every visit which wasn't reported had a workout or some other report that was.

Why is no one talking about Tedric Thompson? Is it something I'm missing. Seems like He'll be the perfect FS for us.

With 3 picks in the 5th, would anyone be opposed to drafting a QB in the 5th?

Josh Dobbs is a guy who has a chance to play in NFL....horrible mechanics due to poor coaching, but he has a quicker release than some of the QBs already taken. Practice squad kinda player until he unlearns some things.

We need an OT/OG and FS and maybe CB but, I want McKenzie at some point.  Dude is a "difference maker"!  Football heart and fast!!!
