Braves vs Nats

492 posts in this topic

What else can I say besides...."Buckle your seatbelts, It's on!". Our D.C rivals coming to town to try and spoil our winning streak, but they will soon realize the Braves of 2017 have sharpened their tomahawks and are ready for battle!

We win this series 2 out of 3! But keep them brooms nearby!!!!!

So far this season if you can get into the Nats bullpen you have a good chance. The Nats come in with the 4th worst bullpen ERA in MLB. Second worst in the NL. Their bullpen is sporting an ERA of 6.25. They've blown 3 of 6 save opportunities.

The flip side is you have to keep them close. Nats come in with the best offense in the NL so far. They come in with a team batting line of .283/.351/.470.

Hopefully Folty keeps it close today. I feel pretty confident we will be competitive. Activate Kemp please, we need some power to go with the hot sticks of Freddie and Ender

Joe Ross is reportedly the likely starter for tomorrow but the Nats haven't committed to it yet. It would be his 2017 debut. He's made 2 starts in AAA so far.

What's up fellas... T minus 3min. This for me is a statement series. I think if we set the tone early and get to the nats bullpen we easily win this series. I think we can manufacture some runs early.

Seems the plate ump is going to have a tight strike zone.

He made up for it on the Harper strike out. But yeah...we'll see.

Another fantastic AB by Dansby Uggla.

The guy has 400 ABs in the minors and MLB combined. You're going to have to give him time to adjust.

He can't hit a fastball and can't identify a breaking ball. His bat is going to magically speed up. Hope I'm wrong.

He hit .302 in 130 ABs last year in MLB. He'll be fine. Just a rough start.

It's CB Bucknor. He's frustrating as all get out. Some times pitches are strikes and sometimes they're balls.
