On Tuesday, the NFL announced the key offseason dates for all 32 teams. Here when the Falcons will be working out in preparation for the 2017 campaign (all dates are tentative and subject to change):

  • April 17: Team reports for offseason workouts
  • Organized team activities (OTAs): May 30, June 1-2, June 5-6, June 8-9
  • Mandatory minicamp: June 13-15

Atlanta's nine-week offseason program, as per the collective bargaining agreement, will be conducted in three phases. The league explains below:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a "separates" basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs." No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

Additionally, the Falcons can hold a seven-week rookie football development program beginning on May 15, and can hold a mandatory minicamp for veteran players during Phase Three of the offseason program.

Hi Folks,

First time poster but have lurked on here for a while. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread (I mistakenly put it in the Atlanta Hawks thread earlier) :(

Looking at making my first trip down to Atlanta for a game (I live in Canada). Just curious if anyone knows when the individual game tickets will be on sale through Ticketmaster? I am looking at checking out the Packers game to open the new stadium and looking on Stub Hub and the resale sites, the prices are pretty high. Was hoping to be able to purchase at face value when the individual seats are released.

Any info or insight is greatly appreciated.
