Xero
Now he needs the ring to get that beer sponsorship going. "Matty Ice" drink of champions!!! This has been an unreal ride. I wonder if this will help even more with high level free agents who want to join a contender.

Successful teams typically don't pay for high level free agents
chifalc
Not always true, you have to pick your targets very carefully though.
va2gafalcons
And he's one of 2 QBs to throw 0 ints this post season. The other QB was Stafford
Guest
I don't know about having to put the team on his shoulder. The defense deserves some respect, but, yea, Ryan is elite this season.

Oh come on MS. He's not even playing in the Pro Bowl this year. Whoops never mind. I just realized that's a really good thing.

Falcons_own_nfc_south
What has Rodgers done except 2010 SB. Has he win any big game? Oh he's a one man machine lol
Jesus
There was a shift post game. The Aaron Rodgers talk went from Superman to "he hasn't been in a Super Bowl in 6 years and his stats in championship games aren't very good." No one was saying he wasn't elite or one of the best but they were looking at his legacy somewhat differently.
FalconState
Matt is obviously one of the best QBs in the NFL.

Da_Truth
We will beat the Belicheats and win Superbowl 51. There isn't a defense they could come up with to stop all the weapons on this team.
octoslash
Not too shabby considering he's the 'worst QB in the NFC South'.

Rodgers legacy shouldn't change on a dime like that with one game. He was never superman, but still extremely impressive. The media (sports and political) are no longer journalists. They are paid cheerleaders or trolls. That's it. Either one guy is "superman" or he's "worthless". Everything is hyperbole with them. They only use a few facts to pretend to be objective. End of the day, really great QBs are chosen for HOF induction by their body of work. Some have yards, TDs and SBs. Some just have yards and TDs (Marino and moon), some have just SB(s); some are left out like Plunkett who has 2 SBs.

He also has a nice streak going during which he's raised his passer rating for five straight playoff games. Starting with the worst playoff game of his career from the 2010 season, it's gone: 69.0, 71.1, 93.7, 114.8, 125.7, and 139.4. A game with like a 147 passer rating is preordained at this point.
