Will the imminent Shannahan departure to SF be disruptive to Falcons chances to go to SB and win SB

We would like to think that Kyle Shannahan will be loyal to the Falcons here and have his head 100% focused on game planning for the NFC Championship game to propel the Falcons to the SB

On the other hand if he has already been hired by SF with the simple contingency in the contract that it becomes official when the Falcons season is over with ..............with so many decisions about where his family will live, putting together a staff, contacting potential coordinators and personnel  to see who is willing to come on board with him in SF before other teams grab them--its really hard to believe that he can be 100% focused on this upcoming game---with all of that going on in the back of his mind and the though that he could start after this weekend instead of 2 weeks from now

I would hate for the Falcons to be on the precipice of finally being a dominant team and actually going to the SB --only to have its season come crashing to a bitter end this weekend at the Dome because our star offensive coordinator is so distracted from his current duties---since the NFL allows teams to contact and make contingent coaching deals with personnel of teams that are still in the playoff hunt and that takes the focus of those personnel off of the task in the present---making sure that the current team they are with continues to be successful all the way through the SuperBowl

Hopefully Kyle will remain a complete focused professional and give his best work this upcoming Sunday and 2 weeks from now in the SB so that we can finally have the dominant SB winning team that we have waited 50+ years for

Yes...this whole thing will completely collapse what the team has worked so hard to try and achieve.  No way on God's green earth will Shanny want to walk through the doors of the SF home office wearing a Super Bowl ring.  He wouldn't want to set the standard too high at SF right out of the gate.

I wouldn't worry too much about that now. As far as we know, KS hasn't traveled to participate in any HC interviews since the week before the divisional playoff round. He's been with the team working to install the game plan they'll use to win Sunday. He's a professional and I'm sure, if nothing else, that he's immersing himself into this week's game planning work more than he has at any other time this season. Nothing would be better for him than to close this season out with a Super Bowl victory, and walk into salary negotiations with the 49ers with a championship ring on his finger.

Short answer no, longer answer shiiii... no.

One, they can't talk to him until after game. Two, Quinn went through the same thing and help keep grounded. Three, Ryan is going to demand so much of his time that he won't have to get distracted. Four, he knows what we do, that this is a special year and Falcons can it all, it's the holy grail of all players, coaches, GMs and owners. Not worried at all about that.
