The Picks Have Started To Come In:

While Atl is a 4 point favorite by Vegas, the individual prognosticators picks are trending favorably in GB's direction! Seems that GB dominated Dallas and looks like super cheese...to these idiots.

So, now, I'm still NOT scared!

Falcons cove the spread easily and move forward!

Yeah how about won it by sling it down field and great catch on the sideline.

That was a great throw and catch no doubt. I wouldn't file it under domination though. Being up 21-3 is domination, and they lost that lead. Just calling a spade a spade. It was a great win, a thrilling win... I wouldn't say it was a dominating win though.

We, as Falcons fans, know how that usually ends up.  We took care of our business and left no doubt.  This weekend I expect us to do the same thing.

You could argue Rodgers vs. Ryan until you're blue in the face. So I won't rehash that here.

But if you look at the rest of the roster, 2 through 53, I think we're the better team by a comfortable margin. The only way we lose this game is if Ryan has a bad day. If he does what he's been doing all year, though, we'll win.

Well despite being favored in Vegas lines, my experiences listening to sports talk radio up and down my satellite dial has revealed something different.

1. The Falcons have had their fun but  now it's time for them to remember that they are the Falcons.

2. The world of fandom deserves to see a Pats/Brady vs GB/Rodgers showdown.

3. The NFL can only recover from a down season with a redeemable Super Bowl which would pit GB/Rodgers against NE/Brady.

4. It's pretty much a given that it WILL be GB vs NE.... because Goodell needs to be forced to shake Tom Brady's hand, and well... Rodgers is a rock star who makes funny TV commercials.

Referring to 2 through 4..  The world has already seen a Pat/Packers superbowl in 96..  Why not try something new?  I don't understand the fascination with the main stream media always wanting to see the same boring thing time and again..  Examples:  Prime time football..  The Dallas Cowboys, the Houstan Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, the NY Giants..  I can go on..  I honestly turn off the TV every time the cowboys, giants or packers are on and my team isn't playing because I am so bored of seeing the same teams over and over and over again..  I was really bummed that KC lost last week, they're another team that gets very little media attention and I would have loved to see them in the superbowl again.

Remember 2012 Falcons... They were leading and won at the last second... Media said... We just won by luck...

The only way we dro p this game if OL has a bad day... If OL gives Ryan enough time then Ryan is going pick apart that Defense.. He's in his zone right now

I'm just hoping GB don't capitalize on our mistakes. Last week we got a few things our way, thus is football.

Matt Ryan almost threw 3 picks from what I saw during the game ( one of which was not his fault because Gabriel wasn't paying attention ). As long as Matt zips those balls to our receivers I have high confidence in our team! Lets go baby!

Every game by every quarterback you will see "almost threw x picks" - usually they were nowhere near as close to being an interception as they looked.

The pass to Freeman .. wasn't going to be picked... it's a broken pass

The pass to Gab .. it seemed like a mis-communication and it wasn't that easy to INT.. (it looked that way but it wasn't that easy)

Not sure what's the 3rd one...

It's interesting.  When people pick Atlanta, they tend to mention the speed of the defense, or the diversity and efficiency of the offense; when people pick Green Bay, it tends to be because there is an almost superstitious confidence in Rodgers.

Sickening isn't it?

I guess I'm just nitpicking cause I'm super nervous about this weekend haha. Love this team and just want to see them finally get to the big dance.

It's pretty stupid. Unless the teams are 100% evenly matched, that's when I'll simply the pick game based on the quarterback. However I think the Falcons not only have the better overall roster, they are also healthier, at home, and Ryan this season really isn't THAT much worse than Rodgers if at all. Falcons should win a close one

I think Rogers is more athletic but Ryan is smarter and better at reading a defensive pre snap. Ryan is more in the Peyton Manning breed, with a little bit of gunslinger thrown in.

Isn't that right? If some of these sports commentators showed Rogers any more Man Love, it would edge into the pornographic.
