IF MATT RYAN DOESN'T WIN MVP, THIS WHOLE THING IS RIGGED

Matt Ryan beat Aaron Rodgers this year so shouldn't that give him the edge? Falcons schedule was WAY MORE tougher also, and Falcons are as hot as any team going into the playoffs. Many pundits and experts said the Falcons have so many weapons so Matt Ryan should win, yet everyone was saying before the season starting, seeing the toughest schedule in the NFL preseason that the Falcons would be lucky if they even won 3 games this year. These so called experts are a bunch of hypocrites.

GB and NE have no impressive wins IMO and their schedules were cupcakes compared to ours

He said at midseason that he would vote for Carr over Ryan, but I didn't think he would actually go through with it after how the season ended.

lets just hope not many others give Carr sympathy votes.

Moron. The dude said that Rodgers and Ryan both had far better seasons, yet it's going to Carr because his team won a lot of games. Lol ok.

Wow. Terrible measure for an MVP though... Carrs impact is no greater than most other starting QBs. Most teams in the NFL are screwed without their starter, especially franchise QBs

Apparently if you injure yourself and everyone gets to visibly watch your team flop without you (rather than just speculate) then that somehow gives you an edge

MVP should go to the guy rated 16th in QBR.

I feel bad that Carr broke his leg and all, but c'mon. Do pity points count in MVP voting? Ryan should win it but if Rodgers won it you could at least say he had more TDS or rushing yards. There is at least an argument to be made. Carr is a **** of a player but he in no way had an MVP season.

I wouldn't care if Matt didn't win it (even though I believe he should). Better to fly under the radar IMO.

It's given out the day before the Super Bowl. It would be pretty hard to fly under the radar if you're playing in that game but if there ever was a team that could do so....

And this is why anybody taking this chit seriously really needs to reconsider their emotional investment in something so utterly bogus as this award.
