usmcdirtybird
Ready to run on that TCU defense. The magic is 40 carries by the running backs. 8 receptions to the TEs and running backs will keep the running game open.
usmcdirtybird
at least it was not run run pass.
VoiceofReason95
I'm not sure what was wrong with that run blocking. Sigh.

Unknøwn
TCU holding their own early against the run. They'll wear down later though.
usmcdirtybird
yeah, run on 1st and run on 2nd. Guess what we do on third down.
VoiceofReason95
The run blocking on this drive was bad though.

usmcdirtybird
Nice score. Sony fought for that end zone.
VoiceofReason95
And Michel continues to show that OL run blocking hasn't really been bad since Chaney was confronted. Something is just up with Chubb...
VoiceofReason95
There it is again. Michel with a solid gain when he comes in.

Carter
Is Mo Smith the only DB that can tackle?
usmcdirtybird
Just now, Jimsmusic™ said: lol cheney playcalling blows chunks. I guess his article in the AJC was just bs. " “I do believe there are some parts of that. You’d love to be a downhill team, but you do have a young quarterback that has played in the gun more. So you have to find some happiness there,” Chaney said. “As we work through that sometimes it didn’t work out as well as we’d like to. There was a little contradiction with philosophies in regards to that, as we worked through it.” Still did not learn anything.
VoiceofReason95
Y'all really aren't getting it. Pay close attention to the gains in the run game with Chubb and Michel. It's something I've noticed. Hopefully Chubb is better after he gets rest in the offseason (thing is, he's been better off of long hiatuses this season, and this isn't exactly a good TCU defense sooooo), but since Chaney was confronted about the run game, the OL has run blocked just good enough if you're a good back. VoiceofReason95
I'm not a fan of Chaney, but if Chubb is missing holes that he used to not miss and hasn't been quick enough to hit holes he's been getting (like I think I spotted on the first run play), it's a problem. Chubb both needs a break, and needs to look at his own film.

Carter
Chubb has ran into a wall on most of his carries in this game... not "missed a hole" or "not fast enough." The play funnels into a pile of players. Sony has had some holes open up on some of his carries. Chubb is fine. Our offensive line is inconsistent at best.
