One of the best pass rushing prospects in quite awhile.

Been following this kid for years.

If you had to give up a similar ransom like we did for Julio Jones for Myles Garrett would you do it?

Could be the answer for the pass rush we have been looking for since Abe left.

Personally, I don't think I could do it if we had to move up from like pick 15 to the top 3.

What say you?

We've been drafting well the past few years. We've even been finding real players in the late rounds. I don't think we can afford to give up many, if any, picks.

This ^ and I'm still hoping Beasley gets it eventually. Just gotta keep developing that technique.

Yes. I have no faith in this staff to find a passrusher and until he do so this defense will be a sieve. Garrett is as close to a sure thing there is. No character flaws, awesome work ethic, elite athlete, elite production and a game that translates to the next level. He's the best pass rushing prospect to come out in a long time and fits our system to a T.

Teams simply do not trade up that high for defensive players. They just don't. Generally they trade up for quarterbacks and occasionally wide receivers. Could you imagine if we gave up a bounty to get Garrett and he turned out to be a bust. We would never live it down.

Not even just if he busts, but it has to be considered he could be injured on any given play in a way that stunts his production throughout his career. It's too risky.

I don't really think there is anyone else.

6'4 200 lbs? A but undersized for us. I want a technician someone that uses strength, technique and violence to beat their man.

According to this article written a week ago he's 6'6" and 238 pounds. Still a bit undersized but not as drastic.

Size seems comparable to Leonard Floyd. How is he doing in Chicago?  I haven't heard much about him.

Edit: forgot to paste article link
