ATL: John Gant, RHP

Gant allowed three runs (one earned) vs. the Mets on Saturday in his second start since coming back from a left oblique strain. He has pitched through the sixth inning in only one of his six starts this year.

WAS: Max Scherzer, RHP

Scherzer enters this start looking to reach the 17-win mark for the third time in his career. Scherzer won 21 games in 2013 and 18 games in '14.

ATL: Josh Collmenter, RHP

After being acquired from the Cubs on Wednesday, Collmenter makes his first Major League start since June 7, 2015, while pitching for the D-backs. He posted a 2.25 ERA in four starts with Triple-A Iowa before the trade.

WAS: Gio Gonzalez, LHP

In 11 of Gonzalez’s last 13 starts, the left-hander has allowed three earned runs or fewer, posting a 7-2 record in that span.

ATL: Matt Wisler, RHP

After dealing with a left oblique injury, Wisler allowed six runs on 10 hits vs. the Marlins on Tuesday in his first start since Aug. 31. He hopes to prove he can be a member of the Braves' 2017 rotation with a strong finish.

Mark Bowman is reporting that Josh Collmenter is likely to start for the Braves tomorrow. If that's the case the Braves will set a new Braves single season record for number of different starting pitchers used.

And still no lefties!

In our head.. Like u said..

Yep. I fully believe it. It's like when the Braves all of a sudden couldn't beat the Yankees. Or in the late 90s/early 2000s when the Mets couldn't beat the Braves. It's all mental. They don't believe they can beat the Nationals and it shows. That's why when it appears they might accidentally win one they screw it up.
