roguebeaver
Is he now in Tampa? Carolina? Sorry but Ryan is not cerebrally patient enough for prof Shanty and his cuteness. Ryan is visceral and thrives on chaos, thus his success in an up tempo fast paced approach to his play. He appears to have been castrated, and looks like an automaton in his approach to his job. Let's face it, type A personalities need to be able to lead, and Ryan looks like he is trying just to follow, e.g., Shannty's system of slow, mud bogging, whatever it is. Man, this is football, not chess! ....ps, yes others have to perform to, including the fast and physical that seem to be missing the ability to tackle and catch! coastiemike
Let me guess, you have never been in a job where you know how to do things better than the boss but you aren't allowed to make changes, only follow what is given to you to do. LookAboutFalcon
Matt Ryan has never been a gun slinging QB.
southernbird
Another year, another OC being blamed for Matt Ryan's timidness. Why is our $100 million franchise QB allowing himself to be handcuffed by his OC? That says more about him than about Shanny or Koetter. Can you imagine Brady being handcuffed by McDaniels, or any of the other 3 or 4 OCs he's played under? If you are the franchise QB, then its your offense. You're the one out there and you should let the coaching staff know what you want and what kind of offense, system etc that you are comfortable with. You're not going to let some journeyman OC lower your effectiveness. You should call the shots. That is, if you are good enough and have broad enough shoulders to carry the team and let it be known that, as far as the offense is concerned the buck stops with me, the Quarterback. What also happened is your boy shanny showed up with Coach...q Edited September 12, 2016 by roguebeaver
