ThemDarnFalconsBoy!
Was it just me, or did Freeman look off? He did not look anywhere near as explosive as I've seen him before. On a few off tackle plays he would normally go full speed towards the sideline and turn the corner but this game he seemed to not be able to turn the corner. I know McCoy was destroying the runs before they could get started half of the time, but the times McCoy wasn't around, the run game with Freeman just seemed stale. Makes me wonder if he's playing injured and just gritting and baring and not being public about it. Edited September 12, 2016 by ThemDarnFalconsBoy! ya_boi_j
How bout giving Tampas front seven credit where it's due.
Mr.11
Lol, is it so impossible for a guy to just have a bad game without being injured?
high impact
No what you saw was a bad O-line getting tossed all over the place. At least the snaps are no longer a joke. Just the rest of the line still is. I bet they turn up the music at practice so they can work more on them dance moves cause they sure don't block well. Yes, I think this was what his and our running games problem was yesterday. Man, I loved their linebacker play. Made me wish we had some good linebacker play
toadfishtom
He had very poor blocking from the O line. At least he didn't try a spin move.

No but he did dance around a lot but the Tampa Linebackers weren't having it.
Diggable Birds
Jim Brown couldn't run behind our line the way they played yesterday. Tampa's DL/LB's are a force period. Jameis has become a gun slinger and their defense will keep them in most games this year
Ezekiel 25:17
It's kinda hard to explode through a hole that's not there, or when someone is already around your legs before you get started or when you over use a shuffle play for no apparent reason. But the Tampa D-line was simply Better than Our O-line yesterday at the point of attack.
Jesus
He was too busy running without a fullback. If front 7 is giving you fits why run single back formations. Run up the middle with the game's best fullback clearing space. Sounds too crazy I guess.

Yeah, He was playing injured, he just couldn't get his feet moving forward far enough, oh wait, that's because there was no place for his feet to go forward with all the bucs in the way.... toadfishtom
The running game has looked highly suspect for the last 10 games . The O line, the running backs , The OC can all improve.
sassy_bird
No we just suck and have no blocking. However our GM still has a job.
