WiscoFalcon
Really doesn't make any sense. Hasn't changed anything since he's been here.

If you look up bum in the dictionary, you'll see his picture. I have thought this since seeing is arrogant cigar smoking *** on hard knocks. Hasn't improved one thing. tl;dr
Same reason TD is still here. The Falcons problems go higher than the GM.
Sun Tzu 7
I thought Quinn was also supposed to be some defensive line guru..... Guess not.

Theyhateme : )
The pressure was there, Winston made the throws that we aren't use to seeing from our QB...plain and simple.

NCFalconfan
Because there is no accountability with this organization.
Osiruz
I don't understand why this franchise doesn't want chuck smith to coach the dline. Did he sleep with AB's wife or something?
AEFalcon
DQ may be too loyal to his coaches. May get him fired if not careful.
GleasonForever!
Never understood why you hire a LB to coach D-Line

Look what Bill Kollar did with Lester Archambeau, Shane Dronett and Travis Hall. These guys don't know how to use their hands and create separation, Beasely looks like a ballerina out there. These guys are being taught zero technique.
Atl Falcon
It's got to be BC fault doesn't have a d____ thing to do with the talent provided by the front office
stizz
Very true. From HK, dude looked like he would be the one to make something out of Hageman. I like the guy, but this is a results league, and he just isn't giving it.
FalconJim
Well, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear --- with very few exceptions, our D talent level leaves much to be desired ---

Knight of God
For the same reason Ryan does. On the Falcons is better to look the role, than to actually do something with all the hype.
likeriver
Even the worst GM would strike gold every now and then. After so many relentless attempts to rebuild the D-line, is there really not one person on the DL that is talented? The fact that, after 3 years, not one player we've signed or drafted has amounted to much of anything on the D-line makes me think that it's a coaching problem, not a talent problem. When you don't have a winning season and don't make changes, you run a huge risk plataeuing out or staying mediocre which results in "wasted seasons," where the only thing that happens is that guys become a year older. The Braves would have had that issue if they would have retained Gonzalez, but saw change needed to be made. Quinn should have saw how bad our issues are in the RZ. That and the fact the Big 3 openly complained about playcalling, something that is very rare to see them all do. That and the fact that Shanahan has been a wreck everywhere he's been spells trouble. The only reason I saw on this board to keep Kyle was so that Ryan wouldn't have to learn another playbook. So what? That's like saying you'll stick with your gf if she cheats on you just bc you've invested a decent amount of time in the relationship. The problem has been identified by players, pundits, and fans. What are the Falcons going to do about it.

Doesn't help we allowed 31 points and 0 sacks to a running QB. Defense got found out. Told yall in preseason that we are frauds.
