I find it tough still when this day comes. The memories of the twin towers with people jumping to their horrific death and then the buildings collapsing with so many trapped and the bravery of all the first responders. Flight 93 and the brave people who saved our Capitol and the plane that crashed into the Pentagon. It is a day of sorrow for me, but way this country came together, all races under one flag to unite against terror was a beautiful memory too. I love this country, and all Americans. We will fight for our freedom when challenged and listen and help others.

7th grade in Computer lab when it happened, but didnt realize anything was going on until Band class where the principal went over the loud speaker and told the teachers NOT to turn on the tv. Didnt matter since our band room didnt have a tv, but when we got to Biology all of the tv's were on and we watched that for the rest of the day(Literally every teacher I had ignored the principal ).

Strangest thing to me is being hit on by undergrads who have little, to no, memory of that day.  Was a pretty generation defining day for me.

Also shout out to those who remember when this forum put up those little American flags throughout the forum after the attacks.
