Guest
We spend a lot of time talking about why we dislike this and that in America. 1. I don't feel appreciated 2. I don't get treated like everyone else. 3. My religious or anti-religious view doesn't get respected enough 4. America doesn't help people enough 5. America helps too many people 6. America Gets involved in too many wars 7. America doesn't get involved enough 8. Republicans are racist 9. Democrats are baby killers 10. Third Parties steal votes away from people who could actually win 11. Cops are dangerous 12. Cops need to do their job 13. We have too many cops 14. We don't have enough cops 15. America needs Nation healthcare 16. America has become socialist for National Healthcare. This List could literally go on for a hundred pages. Lets just take a minute to be thankful we live in a country that lets us discuss and disagree on these things. We are not a perfect country, but what country is? How many countries do not have a history of Murder, slavery, Imperialism, War, corrupt politicians and greed. (Britain? France? Egypt? Libya? Spain? Iran? Iraq? Syria? Russia? Ethiopia? Mexico? China? North Korea?) We have a country where we are allowed to disagree with other people including the government. I venture to say most of us are pretty comfortable and would not want trade our current lives here and go live or raise children in the majority of the world's countries. While things are not perfect, and they will NEVER be perfect in this life. We can keep trying to improve ourselves. We can keep trying as a nation to heal together, live together, and grow together but we have to allow ourselves to do that and not always think the worst of this nation or its people. I'm thankful EU wants $14.5 billion from Apple in Taxes...Apple, say hello to Donald Trump We're going to threaten to send him to Europe next if they don't drop the tax demand? That might actually work. We should carpet bomb countries that annoy us with all our failed presidential candidates and celebrities we don't like. I mean we have a pretty sizeable arsenal.
