Captain Falcon
That is great news. I had a bad feeling he was going to miss half the season or worse.

Falconsfan567
I didn't even realize he got hurt among all the other injuries suffered last night. Good news on all so far.
ballfan
He is a force. He will get some sacks this year.

JDaveG
After I realized Julio was walking around smiling on the sidelines, his was the injury that worried me the most. He's not the greatest pass rusher in the league, but on this team, he's one of the few legitimate threats. We can't afford to lose anyone in that pass rush rotation, honestly. TheRisen999
Well that's good news for sure... and even tho it didn't have anything to do with his injury I still say that raggedy field contributed to all the knee and ankle injuries we saw Thursday night. Vandy
That is indeed great news. Clayborn has looked good this preseason, as has Brooks Reed, as has R Hageman. I think our pass rush is going to be improved and will surprise folks this year ...including beasley and freeney, I think we'llhave a bunch of guys with 5+ sacks this season ....most folks don't grasp we don't necessarily need a 10+ sack guy to have a successful pass rush

He is a totally different player, for the better, in this role. It's the same role he played in college at Arizona.

Vandy
agree on B Reed, he is a guy who I think could get 5+ sacks in Quinn's system Edited August 27, 2016 by Vandy

I agree, but Reed wouldn't have played well last year at either position due to his chronic groin injury which appears to finally have been solved by last year's surgery (and this year's offseason rehab). DirdieBirdieIndie
checked our sacks for preseason - we had 5 in 3 games. It may not look a lot, but we have the same # of sacks as the Seahawks and Panties. Leading the sacks during Preseason is the Yucks with 13 sacks.... I guess sacks are not overrated to Mike Smith anymore.
