Russia ringing alarm sirens and mobilizing their army isnt same stuff. At least 3 modern countries telling their citizens to stockpile food and water for a week or more isn't same stuff. Sponge
I agree. It does look like a powder keg. Eight years of Obama's foreign policies are pathetic at best. Prepare for global meltdown when HRC becomes president.

Exactly, any time in recorded history , people love bad news and for some people its all they focus on ( fox news )

True but the only problem is if one goes they all go. its very similar in my mind to WWI with all of the maneuvering and peace/protection agreements that set off the powder keg. except this time US- Nukes Russia- Nukes China-Nukes N Korea- Nukes S. Korea- Nukes Iran- Nukes (most likely already have them being so friendly with Russia) Israel- Nukes Uk- Nukes (nato) France- Nukes (Nato) Everyone involved save Japan, The Phillipines, and Ukraine has nukes. Im not saying WW3 is going down, but the posibility of it is pretty substantial at the moment. We are either going to A. Let a sovereign nation be overwhelmed by Russia's military as they rebuild the Soviet Union. (Remember they tried to do the same to Georgia not too long ago. B. Intervene and stop them either directly or indirectly supplying them with weapons. either way presents major problems. WWII taught us you can't let nations go unchecked conquering their neighbors. WWI taught us the danger of all these protection agreements.
Forever Julian
If it all fell apart could you survive? Do you have land? Do you have food? Can you hunt? Can you purify water?

Can you purify water? ya I'm sitting on quite a few acres, i grew a pretty successful garden this year, we have pecan trees, grapes, figs, and muscadines, and a small pond here. I love to hunt. This house used to be connected to a well that still works, so with a little tweaking i could probably get it going again in an emergency. I've actually have grown interested in prepping too honestly. Not storing stuff, but becoming more used to living off the land.
