2010 re-draft

When every GM (not just a guy from 1970) has a time machine-  you end up with ... Erick Decker instead of Sean Weatherspoon.

Call me underwhelmed that we would use a first round draft pick on a #3 WR after Roddy and Julio.

This shows how little talent lasts after six years in the NFL.

Swift called it right. He said we should have taken Dez Bryant that year.  Would have been able to keep our ornamental picks and added Justin Houston,  Demarco Murray, Julius Thomas, David Decastro and Brandon Boykin in the next two drafts.  Troffed.

Well shoot man! Yeah! Let's only draft pro-bowl players from here on out. If only we had a GM that could only pick out guys like this. All the other GM's can. That's why all those guys are on the same team right now and they've won 4 superbowls in a row.

Notice how all of those players were drafted by the same team and were all re-signed to second year contracts by that team? Thats how you know you had a successful draft.

4-5 years later and one of those guys can't stay on a roster, another got traded for a bag of peanuts and is on his third team in 18 months, and the other makes $9 million a year to give you Tamme-esque production.

STRONG.

Let's not forget how he was going to draft all of those players if you combine all of his mock drafts (that most likely don't exist). Because that's how it works.

The best thing about For ****s' Sake 1970 is that he has magic powers that allow him to draft players 2 rounds after they were actually drafted. He would have just called the Cowboys when our 4th round pick came up and told Jerruh that he was drafting DeMarco whether Jerruh liked it or not.

Apparently, the NFL Draft has a White Elephant provision in the rules....who knew?

20/20 hindsight is great..... but its not real without a time machine. **** why dont we redo every draft and draft all the pro bowl players. That would be great. Ohhh and we can throw the ball to Gonzalez instead of Roddy on that play vs the 49ers in the NFC championship game. Smh

The guy that can't stay on a roster has more yards and touchdowns than Julio. Troffed.

All that said, I agree with what you said on another thread that TD has drafted more overall talent here than Bellichick has in New England since 2008.

Can you provide us the same analysis for what the Patriots woulda, shoulda, coulda done followed by a one word sentence "Bellichicked"

Or we could have taken Antonio Brown. But wait, every team passed on him several times.

I'd like to know how to not only re-align the entire NFL and draft ranking/status to get those players, but also how you pay them all.

All things are possible in FFSwift70's mental laboratory. He's got it all worked out.

Only teams that haven't been to the playoffs in three years have to play the hindsight game.

I bet the Cardinals dont have any issue at all with Carson Palmer hurting his hand late last year.

I like Decker a lot. Good player.

Probably one of the most underrated players in the NFL. Dude is good for 80/1000/10 about every year.
