ike barn87987
Neasman had a similar number of suitors, electing to sign with Atlanta over the Los Angeles Rams because Falcons' head coach Dan Quinn was one of the voices on the other end of the phone. “Once (the draft) was over, my agent was getting calls like crazy. I was getting calls like crazy,” Neasman said. Neasman said the Falcons pursued him because of his versatility and intend to give him an opportunity at both safety positions as well as nickel. One person who's watched Neasman's growth believes the safety has a good chance of sticking with the Falcons. “He's going to be very hard for someone not to keep on their team,” FAU coach Charlie Partridge said. “They are going to coach him once and he's going to have it. He's going to be a special teams contributor for sure.” http://www.fauowlaccess.com/articles/123/nfl-free-agency-reminds-fau-players-of-college-recruiting.aspx
The O.D.B
and as well they should have. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't make the final 53. For anyone who hasn't researched him, do youself and favor and take a look.

RED_N_BLACK_98
This is the prototypical Quinn kinda guy. What I'm noticing is that he is extremely versatile: 1. slot corner 2. box safety 3. deep safety My question is this: Why wasn't a guy this talented drafted? Even if in the later rounds. Could this be one of our gems?
Jerry Maguire
Yeah. I always wonder why a guybthat tested well and is as versatile doesnt get drafted.
PapaJoe
I knew awhile before the draft that the Falcons were very much zeroed in on Neasman. He demonstrates fanatastic football IQ, instincts, grit, and an uncanny sixth sense of where to get to, and the best angle to get there. The Florida game showed that he can play at this level so now it is just him putting everything together and then producing like he shows he is capable of. Good football player! ltstorm2
It doesn't surprise me about safeties not being drafted when Jeremy Cash didn't get drafted. I remember watching his tape compared to Cravens and I couldn't understand the 2nd round grade he got but I surely didn't expect him to go undrafted.. ike barn87987
1. SS Keanu Neal 2. WLB Deion Jones 2. NT Javon Hargrave 3. OG Joe Dahl 4. MLB Devondre Campbell 7. NB/S Sharrod Neasman This was my final mock. I think we should've drafted Neasman in the 7th but we still got him anyway as an UDFA.

Dem Birds
I like him and fully expect him to make the roster. I'm not sure he beats Ricardo out though at free. I think he'll end up at nickel. Rico and Therezie are going to be tough to unseat
MagnusXXIII
Dude can play all 4 DB positions because he has the size to play SS. If he eventually takes over as a starter (unless there is an injury) it would be at FS.
