Reasons why we'll be Top 4 in 2016

Recommended Posts

I truly believe after just 2 games this coming season, you and many others  will understand what TD, Quinn, and Blank have done this off season, and what they are still doing..  To make this team , the best team in the Country. I think we may have that team RIGHT NOW.. Big statement I know, but I didn't say it with no backup of what they have done this off season.. It still blows my mind when I think of it.

We will be a top 4 team this year. But if you would let me add just one BIG IF,, IF Ryan can stay healthy we will be in the top 4 teams of 2016. My Bold Prediction. And I have never said that before a Season even began. People will say why did you say that..

1.We have never had a year where we came even close to all the FAs we picked up before the draft this year. This move is what will put us at the top, much more than the solid draft we had.

 2. WE had a great Draft and picked up the players that we needed and didn't get in FAcy.

 3. Our D# scheme will be very much improved since Quinn has now had this off season to pick up the players we needed for His D#.

4.The only thing that can stop us now from being one of the top 4 teams in the NFL is if Shanny doesn't tweak his O# and take out those plays that take to long to develop..  As persice as they have been about every other need that we needed. I'm sure TD, Quinn, have got with Shanny about taking out all those O# passing plays that take an eternity to develop.  I think they will use the Super bowl film to show Shanny how that Manning didn't take more than 4 seconds to get rid of the ball. That was the biggest key for Denver to win that game.. I never dreamed I'd see Manning keep all his passes short. but it was the key to keeping the ball and controlling the clock.. And getting another Ring to go out with.. , And this is the only way we will  ever win a SB here in Atlanta.  Draftnut57 from Dalton Ga.

 5. And I believe we will win a SB either this year or the next. Blank is leaving no stone unturned , Never saw it on this fashion,, = Old preachers term .... ;)

Well its hard not to imagine our D will be top third in the league since we were middle of the road with very little of Quinns influence on the roster.

We've made enough improvements offensively and another year for Ryan in Shanahans system will hopefully help as well.

But a top 4 team just isnt realistic IMO. Most likely hanging around the bottom part of the top 10 NFL teams. Enough to be a threat but getting to the NFCCG is a long shot.

tell you right now, I don't know **** about any other teams--

tell you what tho... Matt Ryan + Alex Mack + Devonta Freeman + Julio Jones? Come on make a grown man cry.

Even if our defense stays where it's at... The offense's gonna be tight on Shanny's 2nd year Voodoo

I love your optimism. But, this team isnt superbowl ready yet. We need one more off season to put together a few missing pieces. By then, all the young guys will be in their 3rd year with quinns and shannys system. And be ready to take a big leap. Right now, i see a 11-5 playoff team.

Yep.  I think they make a good run at it this year.  Win it all within 3 years.  I'll be back here to give Arthur Blank a harrumph.

There is still only 1 true game changer on this team. A man that other teams fear and have to game plan around. That's Julio jones. Until that changes this team is never going to win a super bowl or even be in the top 10

We are going to be average. No superbowl. Not any closers than last year's team. Teams with dominant lines will have there way with us. And that will be everyone in the playoffs. I am a fan but also see the team for what it is...average. Off-season was full of poor decisions.

Shocker, you didn't like the Sanu signing I assume?

I have mixed feelings about it. It's cool to have him to not over work Julio. However, I think we could have addressed other issues and went into the season with Julio,Hardy, and Nick Williams in the slot.

I agree that the potential is there. A lot of things have to go right but it could happen. We definitely got some good pieces that fit the scheme defensively, and filled out biggest hole on offense with a great center. It all comes down to turnovers on offense though. We could have had one of the best records in the league last year if we just cut back on that. That's a big If though.

Our outlook would be so much different without that six game losing streak. Turnovers absolutely destroyed the season. Had we won two of the four that we lost by less than a touchdown, we'd have finished with ten wins and a whole lot more respect. People don't realize that our defense was impacted by them as well. Bottom line: We were as bad as our record but not as far away from being a good team as our record might indicate.

We can finish top four if we don't make preventable errors and win the turnover battle most week's.
