LasVegasFalconsFan
This draft shows there is virtually no hope for this team returning to the NFC championship under Matt Ryan---everything lined up perfectly for the Falcons prior to their 1st couple of picks and they Blew it..... The Falcons Front Office again blows incredible opportunities to pick great DLine pass rushing talent and linebacker talent land instead they reached and overpaid for talent they could have traded down to get -- what is is with their preference to take "developmental" talent with speed when their are clearly much more NFL ready players they could have taken that have much better football instincts along with proven physical attributes why does the Falcons FO keep making the same F'ing mistakes over and over again no matter who the Head Coach or collective GM's are. They over pay for FA's, they incredibly reach on draft picks when more proven talent is available and they just keep shooting themselves in the foot year after year Edited May 2, 2016 by LasVegasFalconsFan
Francis York Morgan
DL pass rushing talent was laughably bad this year, both in the draft and FA. Also, our LBs improved tremendously. Genuinely none of your post makes sense to me.
Statick
*OP leads off with the premise that the front office screws up. *OP concludes that Matt Ryan is to blame for the front office screwing up. Conclusion: OP is either silly or drunk posting. Or both.
capologist
And you ascertained all of this without them even picking their jersey numbers out much less actually take the field. Impressive...

quotemokc
Shaq Lawson was not a " great DLine pass rushing talent"
Atlfanstckndenver
I actually really liked Lawson. I still do. I still understand why we went the direction we did.
cooperbh
So, I guess the post count requirement never got implemented. Pity.

Bawse
Every player in the draft is developmental talent and a gamble so your point is moot.

As far as I can tell it's not even an option on this version of the board. What I thought was it is actually a setting to where they can't even post on TATF until they reach a certain number of posts.

Bring It
Cheer up OP..............or sober up..............if all goes well you'll have the outstanding Oakland Raiders moving to your parched desert tinsel town. Think of the Glory then !!!!!!!!

For example it could be set to where you can't post in TATF until you reach 100 posts but you could post in every other forum to get to those 100 posts. It's not really an option though. Drew4719
Virtually no hope? You really think we won't go back while Matt is our QB? I guess we're never going back then.
JayOzOne
Look, as silly as I find OP's point to be, it spurred responses on a message board. The reason people create hyperbolic and inflammatory threads like this is because they always get a bunch of replies. The fact that it has a page of responses less than an hour after he posted it says more about the rest of us than it does about her or him. The Architect
Let the picks hit the field man. Go look at some of the initial draft grades from the past few years and see how they turned out. A lot of the time the worst grades end up being the best classes.
clownorg
I'm gonna withhold my judgment till I see this draft class in action. Did I want a pass rusher, of course. But I'm also not so blind as to write the entire team off till I can actually see the product on the field
