Oh4Real?!
Anything that hurts the Panthers defense is good for me. Bad part is... He'd be a perfect fit for Buccaneers if they still run that Cover 2 scheme.

Kaptain Krazy
As long as he's not playing in the NFCS next season, it helps the Falcons.

Truth B Told (TRU)
Raiders or Jaguars will probably over pay for his services

Osiruz
I'd love to bring him in if we could afford it. Probably asking for 14m's per.
PK Manley
Statement from Gettleman... EDIT: Click on the tweet if it's not showing up right. Long term deal "not attainable". Edited April 20, 2016 by PK Manley
hjerry
I guess the Panthers are taking a CB in round 1 now...
BritFalcon
Huge news. Panthers defense won't be as formidable now. This is a massive boost for Matt and this offense. Julio is going to destroy them.

homerscornbread
How much do you think he's wants. He's 28 years old and looking for the payday. He's a great zone corner for a team that can rush the passer. He's not a great island guy that can keep recovering out there while the d line takes its time getting to the qb. So from that standpoint I think Trufant is a better corner.
maorifalcon
I think he's good but not elite. Anyone decent corner can look elite behind that front 7.
hjerry
I'll only truly be happy about this once he signs elsewhere.
natod12
he will probably be a giant and unite with odell
Ezekiel 25:17
Not surprised at this move... As he has been self promoting himself to get a big payday, Weather he is worth it or not. Not mad at him trying to do that..

GM pretty much said they couldn't afford a long term deal or didn't want to.

malak07
Just now, natod12 said: yea i wonder if he is in legal trouble or something, so weird they could have franchised him easy Seems like Franchising him wasn't going to lead to a long term contract next year per comments... Look like he was wanting to a payday which wasn't anywhere near what they want to pay so later and use the money for something else
