falconcrest58
Not bad...but we re all dreaming if we think Shelby is M Bennette
FalconJim
To me, it means he has a chance to earn his money! I'm pulling for him, but certainly not expecting a Michael Bennett --- I hope I'm pleasantly surprised...
FalconAge
Even with Shelby, if Nkemdiche is there at 50, I think we think long and hard about maxing out the LE spot.
Bobby.Digital
Shelby was a GREAT signing. I'm not the type to get hyped on our FA signings without actual substance. But Shelby has so much upside and is signed to a cheap deal. There's no downside to his contract which is crazy in this day and age.
Osiruz
Michael bennet was a stud before signing with Seattle. He was shutting down the run game completely, and showing signs of really good pass rush ability. Too bad TD and Smittiot didn't think much or him, I really wanted him here. Would've been a sick LE for us.

xiv_T_E_C_O_
Shelby looks very promising, I don't want to jinx it but I feel very optimistic about his role in this defense. If Quinn's plan is to emulate Seattle, IMO it's pretty obvious that Beasly plays the Irvin role(little bit of everything), Shelby is the hopeful 5 technique, Clayborn is a stop gap until we find an ideal rush end, biggest need is mlb.
