Yeah if another team offers and he signs with them

I understand that. My point is, fo we get a 2nd, if the deadline passes and he does not sign his tender, but hasnt signed with another team? If so, what happens of he doesn't sign it? Imo, idk if id even give him up for a 2nd. Maybe not even a first. Just becsuse the value of the RT is skyrocketing, and we have not one, but 2 great tackles, after not being able to find one good OT, that can stay healthy, for a long time.

Lol no. Think about it, the team placed a second round tender on him. What logical reason would there be to just give the team a free second round pick because he didn't sign by the deadline. That would mean every team in the same situation would get a free pick for players they tendered and didn't sign or get an offer by the deadline. It doesn't work like that. Of you want full blown details you should Google it and get proper information. But there is absolutely no circumstance that the team would just get a free pick

Think about it logically... Why would RS not sign his tender by the 22nd if he hasn't gotten any offers from other teams?! Because if he doesn't sign by the due date, the tender offer is voided. Most importantly we are not obligated to pay him that much money and would give us the upper hand as we would also know no other teams have offered him more money or at least that money (and potentially a better situation in his opinion)... Thus we could lower our offer...

I'm completely fine with him playing the market to get his market worth out of a contract. However, at this point in FA, I'm overly confident that he will be back in ATL next season.
