We BETTER get a home run defender in every draft round---

Because from Free Agency, our weak, ineffective, hapless defense has not improved, and may be worse.

No Paul Solia for run-stuffing.

Shelby's unparalleled pine-riding capability.

Weatherspoon's unparalleled hot-tub mastery.

Upshaw's unparalleled 3-4 effectiveness in our 4-3 defense.

Because the last "impact LB" that we "plucked" from the Ravens was SUCH a success.

No proof of a beefier, stronger Beasley.

The offense will be much better due to Matt Ryan's grasp of the WCO in his second year. But will it be enough improvement to offset the mighty suckage of our sub-Browns level of defense? I don't think so. I believe we are in for a top-10 draft pick in 2017.

Oh please wise one. Tell us who we should of gotten in FA and who we should draft, please enlighten us!!!

Bruce Irvin. He even made noise about wanting to be traded here last season.

NOT Shelby. A nothing loser from a team of losers.

He'll fit right in here.

In all honesty what have Bruce Irvin really done in his career? Sounds like you're just mad we didn't get the players that you wanted.

Oldskooler, I respect your opinion, but how did you come to the conclusion that Shelby is a loser?  Seriously, I live in South Florida and everyday I hear from Dolphin fans about how they hate losing Shelby.  Few talk about losing Vernon.  I guess they understand the economics.  But, they all lament losing Shelby.

And he signed with Oakland for 9.25 mil a year, you really wanted to pay more than that for him?

Shelby was on a really good Dline, and when given a chance to start, had 3.5 sacks in 8 starts

He did jack-all nothing except get in a bar fight and get suspended for detrimental conduct.

Still indicates he can get to the passer.

Didn't answer the question- you paying Irvin 9.5 mil to get him? It probably would have been 10+ to get him, Oakland had a bunch of money they have to spend, they could have added another 5 mil to his contract and not blinked an eye.

he never said he wanted to be traded. If he wanted to be here he would be but he wanted money so he ran to the Raiders.

So, I'm confused, did Shelby come from a team of losers or a collection of all pros?
