This Front Office Sucks

Recommended Posts

Dan Quinn definitely isn't earning any respect from me. He appears to be completely ******* clueless when it comes to building a team. I already knew Thomas Dimitroff was horseshit when it came to building a team worth a **** but I thought Dan Quinn actually knew what the heIl he was doing but between his terrible decision making in games last year and the pathetic horseshit excuse of trying to build this team I think he's in way over his head as a HC. Just so sick of this **** team right now not doing jackshit to try to win the Super Bowl.

you need to chill dude. just because they didnt get a certain player, doesnt mean its the end of the world. Maybe they want to sign Laurinaitis or draft a mlb.

Yeah because James "I'm the 83rd ranked player at my position" Laurinaitis is going to solve our problems. I'm tired of having the same issues year after year after year after year after year after year! It's groundhog day with this franchise!!

567 put the bottle down bro remove all sharpe objects from your vicinity take a deep breath and breathe breathe..

It gets really tiring year after year after year after year after year trying to stay positive and super happy shiny blind homer about what the Falcons do or don't do. I'm tired of trying to justify why this team can't fix the same problems that have plagued this franchise for years. Pass rush and linebackers!

Laurainitis might not be flashy and he might a step slower than guys most people want, but when he gets to a ball carrier, he makes the tackle...something a lot of our guys struggled with last year and in years past...Laurainitis would be an instant upgrade at LB for us, plus competition...

As for our front office not doing what the OP wants....that's why the OP is on a message board and not in a FO...why none of us are...

We DONT have the first idea of what has been said, talked, etc. with coaching staff, FO, all of those folks and what they want to do in the off-season in regards to makign this team better...

But to sit there and say that our front office ISNT trying???? That's ludicrous...every front office is trying to get better...It's hard to compete in a league of 31 other teams, with great HC, great cities, great traditions, no state income tax, where the player is from/grew up, experience under a coach, salary cap, $$$....

Because we've done so great in the draft the last 8 years? How many linebackers has this franchise drafted in the last 8 years? How many did anything in the NFL?

We did good in the draft last year & I fully expect that to happen again this year. Don't blame Quinn for that idiot Mike smith

Even with the addition of Mack, Sanu, and draft picks, I think we only go 9-7 this year due to the difficulty of our schedule. This year soley depends on if MR can bounce back from last year.

Laurainitis being ranked as the 83rd best player, etc. is someone's opinion...and that is all...that opinion is also largely based on many external factors unrelated to how well James has played...

You dont just have 7 consecutive seasons of 100+ tackles in the NFL, if you are average....think twice man...how may players in the history of the NFL have started their careers with 100+ tackles in 7 consecutive seasons???

I will wait for that reply.....then consider him a much better player after finding the answer...

This type of thinking has always cracked me up. I know **** well that some of the folks on this message board are smarter than some of the clowns that actually have jobs in the NFL. Guys like Fatboi and KOG, you don't think they could do a better job than the clowns that run **** franchises like the Browns that can't win more than 5 games every year and keep firing coaches?

Also it's hard to sign a player if you never even bring him in for a visit. No player is going to sign without a visit.

That's why I would love for them to sign Laurenitis! He may not hit like WillyMo or run like some flashy LB but he is a sure tackler. This team hasn't had a sure tackler in a very long time!

Those guys might be, but its a lot easier to talk and think of ideas from the cheap seats when nothing is on the line...

If a player isn't getting a visit, than the FO obviously doesn't want to sign the guy...

Dude, how would you feel had we threw down a kings ranson of 85M on an a 7 sack guy who has no guarantee of being an elite QB killer.  I like him but not even close to $85M dollars worth.

$90M for Malik Jackson is a load too but I think he is less risky.  He did have serious help on that Denver D though.

In either case, those are Watt numbers with nowhere near that kind of guaranteed production.

I really like the Shelby pick up.  He is already a very nice upgrade over Jackson with much much more ability to pressure the QB and lots more upside.

I want impactful guys too but I will not bust this team over holding onto the type of moolah a few other teams tied up.  I mean that chit is QB money man.

I have tried to explain this on here many times, if you are on the field all the time then naturally you're going to get a bunch of tackles. It's how you get those tackles that matters. How many of them are tackles for loss? How many are tackles to keep a team from converting a 1st down on 3rd or 4th down? Things like that need to be taken into consideration. The Rams have been a **** franchise for many years now, especially on offense, which means their defense is on the field more than other teams which means their players are going to get the chance to rack up more tackles.

London Fletcher used to lead the NFL in tackles every single year and I don't think he ever played in a single playoff game because he was always on ****** teams.

Exactly. So why do we not want to try to sign any good linebackers when our linebackers have been **** for years?

None of them are linebackers. We could have easily afford Trevathan or Freeman. But it appears that we're dead set on bringing in a linebacker worse than Worrilow at this point in his career.
