You Better Hope We Land Sanu

Since Shanahan took over the perception around the league this is where #2 WR's come to die. I'm sure most if not all FA WR's heard and read Roddy's comments about Shanahan. Until Matt steps up or Shanahan decides to include the #2 in the offense it's going to be tough to get a top tier WR here in Atlanta.

I'm sure if we had landed one of the defensive players Quinn pursued we wouldn't be having this conversation but he didn't and we have an image problem. The hot coach last year that Irvin swooned over publicly chose the Raiders let that sink in for a moment. This year Quinn is just a HC and the honeymoon is over. Now we have to win if you want big names. At least we're still better than the Browns welcome to ATL Mr. Mack.

Sanu is a true #2 WR and is willing to come into a very sketchy situation so he wants to get paid. Most of you would love to have Marvin Jones for 8 million but balk on Sanu getting 6-7 million.

I watch ALOT of Cincy games and this is what I see both Jones and Sanu are 6'2 but Sanu plays bigger and more physical. Jones is faster but plays smaller and is more of a TY Hilton type. We already have Hardy and if Shanahan will utilize Sanu correctly he could put up some nice numbers for us and become a factor in the offense. The kid is 26 years old and could fit nicely here in ATL if Kyle will open his **** eyes and playbook.

Back to Jones at 8 million 43 games 134 receptions 1729 yards 12.9 avg 15 TD's last year he played in 16 games and scored 4 repeat 4 as the true #2 WR

Sanu at 6-7 million 57 games 152 receptions 1793 yards 11.8 avg 11 TD's  pretty **** close to me.

Cincy has a great TE with Eifert who had a great year and Green is their Julio. We don't have Eifert so Sanu could have a higher upside in our system.

Jones, Sanu, Hardy  I like it.

Just not that big a fan of Sanu --- hope he shows more in the future, than he has in his recent past...

I like how you have proof to back up your accusations. He got 900 yards and 8 TDs out of Kevin Walter as a #2.....

Then Shanahan needs to turn to page 2 because no one comes close to those numbers with last year's game plan.

Dont think they can. It's all semantics type stuff with absolutely zero substance.

I think his crappy reputation is incredibly overblown. I was listening to Pete Prisco this morning and good lord, he sounded just like the people on TATF. Apparently the older writers hate him. Id say its because of his dad. Surprisingly enough, these writers are the people that created his crappy reputation...FTR he said the young reporters love him, which is why I think the old writers just wanna burry him to get back and ol man mike
