These protestors, though...

She was stopping and texting while being ecorted out. If you resist being escorted out you will get pushed that said the one guy in the red hat had no business behaving that way.  But she had no business being there protesting inside his event.  If you want to protest  outside go ahead,  don't be disrespectful and disruptive

I agree about protesting without being disruptive.  But you don't handle protestors with physical violence and racial slurs.  The old guy who was shoving her admitted that the people attacking her were white supremacists.

Also, none of those people were security guards and/or police.  They were Trump supporters and didn't have the authority to take those actions.  They were acting on Trump's comments instead of waiting for the authorities to handle it.

I think they understand people at his rallies are angry and they are going there with the intention of getting a reaction and using that to play an angry white guy card. That in my mind is just as culpable as the one doing the punching. If I go into a train car and shout a racial slur I can expect to get hit.  If you go to a place who view you as a racist( many trump supporters view blm as racists) and start shouting and flipping people off, you can expect it will eventually happen. If I walk into a bar and said hey ---- all Yall!  I'm probably going to get hit because I'm inciting violence at that point. Does that make it right?   no everyone is in charge of their own body. But am I likely to get hit?  Ya because people will only take being disrespected so long before they act.

You could make the same argument for protests at a Klan rally, and some Trump supporters would invite that comparison.

Yeah you could.  They are only there to promote hate and violence and are just as guilty as anyone who retaliates

You've made some very disrespectful comments about Muslims over the past few months.  Just saying.

I have made factual statements about what their book and history teaches. I don't disturb them or try to prevent their free exercise of nonviolent fsith. I don't crash a mosque yelling Jesus is Lord or protest their worship shout hate.

You can disagree discuss and debate without being disrespectful.

I guess my point is that respect cuts many ways.  It's not just about disrupting a rally.  But it's an unrelated topic, so we can talk about it in another thread.

"Mob justice isn't 'right' necessarily, but it's convenient and honestly quite cathartic when it happens to uppity minorities."

Who said anything even resembling that?

I literally agreed the KKK is only there to promote hate and violence and they would be just as guilty as anyone that retaliated. But please do tell me more how I'm a racist lol.

The way you phrased it suggested you were talking about the hypothetical protesters at said Klan rally.

Worzone, I don't think you're a racist or that you defend racism.  I would just caution about jumping too quickly to defend the actions at these Trump rallies.  It's been documented that a lot of the people retaliating against BLM people are white supremacists, including people wearing Traditionalist Worker Party t-shirts (a neo-Nazi group).  In other words, I just don't think you realize that some of these people misbehaving are actual, honest to God, Neo Nazis and White Supremacists.

Yeesh!  The guy who threw the punch.

"Yes, he deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization"

What a crazy.  That statement is or should be arrestable as a legitimate threat

A group of people are all sitting at the dinner table eating, but the black guy isn't allowed to eat.  He says "black people should be allowed to eat".  Everyone else at the table eating says "everyone should eat".  But the black guy still isn't allowed to eat.

Best at way to explain BLM movement.

I'm just sick of the lack of respect people have been showing each other lately.

The media helps to fuel this.  Too many people are ready to jump on the first nonsense they hear without fact checking any of the sources. Especially, when things come out at these rallies that are false.  Look at the accusations just made by Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, who said Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski grabbed her hard and threw her down.  It has been proven on tape (by her own employer) it was security and not Lewandowski

Also Trump supporters who supposedly hate white tee shirts on saying make america white again has been proven false.  These are the false stories that are driving the division and hatred during these rally campaigns.

So just ignore the violence they actually have done though.  That's cool.  Oh and the Trump pledge and kicking people out who disagree is cool too.

As many as 1000 protestors actually disrupted a Trump rally tonight.  They are shouting "Bernie" and flipping off Trump supporters.  A lot of scuffling and shoving....maybe an outright fight on the floor.

Those who were attacking the protestors weren't justified, but the actions of these protestors is absolutely disgusting.  The protestors are the ones creating a very dangerous situation this time.
