Monolith2001
I know a lot of people have done full mocks and I thank them for their time. Personally, I find that only the first pick is the only one that is even remotely predictable. With that said, I'd love to know everyone's pick list (with priority) for #17. Mine is as follows: Lawson (DE) Dodd (DE) Jack (LB) Lee (LB) Ogbah (DE) Floyd (LB) I figure at least one of those 6 will be there at 17 and I'd have no serious problem with any of these guys (Floyd needs to stay above 240 imo). AtlantaFanatic
You should turn it into a poll. It'll be easier for people to respond and easier for you to track.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Jack would be far and away number one. But he's not going to be there. Right now, it's Lawson - 1, trade back - 2. But I havent watched the DTs yet.

SexualChocolate
1. Ragland 2. Lawson 3. Jack 4. Floyd 5. Lee
atlGM
Lawson or ragland should be the pick just depends on what we do in free agency. If those 2 are gone I think trading back would be our best bet. Taking Dodd or ogbah at 17 would be a reach. If we nail free agency I could live with Taking an impact safety like Darian thompson

I might could be talked into flipping Lawson and Lee - however, I believe - we could get a combo of linebacker/passrusher in 1st/2nd better if we took the passrusher in the 1st. I don't believe there will be any passrushers left at #50 but there will be linebackers left. If I thought Spence would fall to #50 (had a bad combine), I would take Darron Lee in the 1st - doubt that would happen. If we went Shaq Lawson at #17, we could probably follow that back up at #50 with one of: S'ua Cravens Deion Jones Joshua Perry I think the bust factor on Shaq Lawson is very low as his strength translates well to the NFL and he showed to be a better athlete w/ decent speed for the position at the combine. quotemokc
From most likely to be there at 17 to least (IMO) Nkemdiche Dodd Floyd Ragland Smith Lawson Ogbah Lee
E. T.
You guys are going with DE's and LB's... nothing wrong with that. We need a solid DT up the middle to assist the DE's and LB's you speak of. We have had zero pressure up the middle since the days of Rod Coleman and Grady Jackson. One Mr. Billings fits that mold and I'm going with him at #17. Now, I do see a need for LB's and DE's....but I like to build from the inside out. The reason I believe it is not as popular a pick is we have two young guys - Hageman and Jarrett - that we have high hopes. Mike Mayock said this is such a good defensive tackle draft that you likely can get 1st round talent at D-Tackle in the 3rd round - this may push those guys down the board since it is soooo deep. (that's what she said!).
Bobby.Digital
Based off who has a solid shot at being avaliable: Nkmediche Spence Rankins Billings Floyd Lee/ Cravens If Jaylon Smith medicals check out he'd be #1.

1989Fan
these are the guys I like at 17 (I know not all will make it) Jack, Buckner, Lee, Billings, Rankins, Dodd, Lawson, Whitehair
CTann
Really hard for me to say before free agency. But here's my list as of right now in no specific order: -Darron Lee -Shaq Lawson -Andrew Billings -Leonard Floyd -Reggie Ragland -Emmanuel Ogbah FAcy will shape these guys into a more ordered list. I personally think we will go LB in FAcy and make us "a little" less likely to take a LB at 17. Coaches may not think the way I do but I see LB as a position that benefits greatly from experience and that grabbing a capable LB in FAcy potentially will bear fruit before a rookie playing the same role. It is for that reason, I see Lawson and Dodd heading my list with a rawer Ogbah on the list.
KRUNKuno
Going back to my original guns i had out in october/november because F it. We need another weapon regardless of if we use our #2 receiver or not.... GIVE ME JOSH DOCTSON AT 17! Realistically give me Darron Lee. Slappywhite
Lee, Ogbah, Ragland Billings, Lawson Our LBs are terrible even if we sign a LB in FA, still need one ( or two ) in draft

Did you see that pot belly on him??? His arms looked "soft" too....no thanks... Only one DE I'm taking in the first round, and it's Emmanuel Ogbah....All of the following are fringe 1st rounders in my book: Bosa, Lawson, Dodd, Spence I was really disappointing by Bosa's athleticism and his interviews...no thanks to a weaker, slower, and less character Chris Long... I like the DTs in this draft and we are going to get a good one in the 2nd round... My mock draft after the combine: 1. Derron Lee OLB 2. Kenny Clark DT 3. Miles Killebrew SS 4. Charles Tapper DE 7. BPA at WR Make OG, OC, WR, and ILB a priority in FA

I have seen Lawson just shove guys out of the way and make plays in run game and I see that as soon as Lawson hits the QB, he goes down like a no-name Mike Tyson opponent. If "body beautiful" was all it took, then Ray Edwards would be in the Hall of Fame instead of doing underwear photography shoots. (in before gay jokes in 3,2,1...) saw Lawson play and perform in College Football playoffs with an MCL sprain. Dude is a warrior and highly productive. PHALCONABERNATHY
I'd love to see us sign Irvin in FA and draft a Ragland or Lawson. Suddenly our D looks more scary.
