Ehhh I don't think it was exceptional. I think he did well though. As someone who is projected to go number one overall, any portion of the combine could be scrutinized causing his stock to drop. He is a good player but he is not an all pro guy some make him out to be. Watching this combine made me really appreciate the freak of nature Beasley is.... They compared Spence to Von Miller and Mack... I was wondering why didnt they do that with Beasley last year.... Talent wise he is in that category Yep. 40 yard dash: Beasley - 4.53 Miller- 4.53 Mack- 4.65 Broad jump: Beasley - 10' 10 Miller - 10' 6 Mack - 10' 8 Vertical: Beasley - 41 inches Miller - 37 inches Mack - 40 inches

Nice. Not sure what numbers you're talking about but Golden and Hunter combined for 10 sacks. I'll take that over 4 sacks and shower concussion guy, thanks. Edited February 29, 2016 by Halsey. Golden has an extremely low upside compared to Beasley and, I'll even give you Hunter. Freeman is just fine though, as great as Gurley is we don't need him. Honestly if I could go back I'd prob swap out TeCo for Hunter tbqh, but I wouldn't give up Beasley, even for Gurley.
Halsey.
There's no NFL rule against having two good RBs. It might have stopped the Falcons running attack from turning to shiz late in the season when they only scored 2 rushing TDs after the week 10 bye and fell out of playoff contention. We could've just drafted a guy like Zach Zenner late and had two good RBs. On a personal level I wasn't a fan of the Coleman pick regardless of how well Hunter has played for Minnesota just because I hated the idea of drafting a RB early. Also I wasn't big on Coleman as a prospect, compared him to Darren McFadden. Regardless, Beasley was the best pick at our spot by FAR. I had Beasley #2 or #3 on my big board last year and the fact that he even fell to 8 was a huge surprise to me. He didn't blow up as a rookie but in general even hall of fame edge rushers don't have super productive rookie seasons. Had I been drafting for us last season we would've gotten Beasley at 8, Henry Anderson in the 2nd, Carl Davis in the 3rd and Grady Jarrett in the 4th. I was so happy when we got Grady in the 5th lol
high impact
Beasley will be fun to watch this year. If the Falcons can get at least one other player to get after the QB on the other side of the D-Line then teams won't be able to run away from the pass rush. Hashbrown3
Spence wasn't as explosive as was anticipated. He'll drop a few spots perhaps. Ogbah made himself some money however. TBH, the film doesn't lie. Stick with your gut from the film, then use the combine to separate between the guys you have ranked close to one another. I don't want a workout warrior, I want a football player first and foremost. I would love a top DT. My favorite this year was Billings but after his combine, I worry he won't be available. He and Rankins looked good. Unfortunately my love for Jaylon Smith in the first will have to be put on hold. I have always been one who has been in favor of a possible Darron Lee pick too. The combine just proved how good his is. We should simply take the best defensive player of the following... DT/DE/OLB or OLB/S Hybrid.
