hjerry
That would make me 4 for 4 in my Mock

D.B.N.
I would take Lawson over Dodd so I would be happy with this selection. Beasley/Lawson/Jarrett would all feast off each other.
Sui_Generis
I would not be upset at all. I like Lawson and think he would be a great player at LE. Would even be intrigued to see what he could produce if Quinn used him in the way he used Bennett. I haven't watched a tremendous amount of film on Lawson, but one thing that always stood out to me was how strong he seems. He seems to have very heavy hands. ike barn87987
I'm thinking Rankins. The only DE I would draft is Spence. They just don't come in making an immediate impact which is what we need. I want a vet pass rusher opposite Beasley. Rankins penetrating in the middle would be perfect to replace Soliai. Atlfanstckndenver
This has become my best case scenario for the moment. Lawson is exactly what the doctor prescribed for this defense on many levels. Not only does his skill set and physical makeup make a perfect fit, but i want the attitude and edge this guy brings with him. So while of course his pass rushing will help this defense exponentially, his intangibles will cause a domino effect and help to instill some **** fire in the team. This is a perfect as beating fit for our defensive rebuild.
Sobeit
I think I would take Dodd over Lawson if both were there. Not a big fan of Lawson though. If Smith makes it to us I think he will be the pick. Edited February 21, 2016 by Sobeit

E. T.
I wouldn't be upset about Lawson either... but, something about Billings tells me that offensive coordinators will have to game plan against him and that's a win for us in my book. youngbloodz
I love Lawson attitude and play. I would be cool with it
RS91
Where would he play? I don't really think of him as a 5 tech and he's definitely not a SLB or DT. He would essentially be a subpackage player unless we adjust our front.
Knight of God
I think some of you are exaggerating with Spence. He's a good ball player, but not as good as you are all making him out to be. There is this strange desire to talk up a bad boy. Being bad doesn't make you a better player. Not at all. Just like having a bad combine doesn't make you a superstar in the making. Spence is being way overrated. Unless he has a huge combine, he will be a 2nd rounder. He's not neessarily my fave pick at this point, I just think he will be the pick...unless he has a huge combine.
Lornoth
Personally I wonder if, after the combine, Cravens doesn't jump up to our 1'st round pick. Think Quinn and Co would pick him that high?
Adam25
I'm a huge fan of his, I just question if Quinn is going to want a vet DE like a Mario Williams, Derrick Shelby or say Cam Wake if he gets released rather than a rookie ? I'd be all for Shaq Lawson though.

Perhaps, but can they both be out there together without a pretty significant scheme change? I just think if we go Dline at 17 it needs to be someone who can play 5 tech or a replacement for Soliai. autigerfan
I like Lawson a lot and wouldn't be upset by the pick. Of all the pass rushers that may be available at 17 he seems to be the most ready to contribute early.

Long called the hybrid before people started with the amoeba...lol.
Adam25
Darron Lee could be another option, but he tweeted out that he wants to beat the fastest record for LB's at the combine, you just know he'll land in the top 10 if he does... I'm not all in on Lee, but I think it's possible he could be the pick at 17. This is how I think the first 2 rounds will go. 1.Rankins 2. Deion Jones 1. Lee 2. Butler/Clark

ShanghaiDirtyBird
Are you suggesting that we trade up because I don't think he'll be on the board at
