Quinn and TD Activate "100 Day" Plan

There are no details about the 100 day plan. The article just says they launched a 100 day plan. They could've decided to dedicate 100 days to ponder the detection of gravitational waves this week for all the article says.

The article is 90% speculation about whether they will keep Roddy. That would be a much better headline.

"100 day plan" is clickbait, because we'd all be curious what is in their 100 day plan, but the article really isn't even about that.

Wish I could get my click back.

lol. Yeah it says nothing about Quinn and TD instituting a "100 day plan." It just says that the draft, combine, FA and players report over the next 100 days - which is the same for every other team. "100 day plan" is something DLed made up.

Why won't they fire this guy?

Imagine if we had an AJC guy who had exceptional skills.  A man/woman who could dig up intriguing angles and insight into the players, coaches and managers.

Someone who could articulate himself is such a way as to be compelling and captivating and who understood the fact that the fans would be able to see through dim-witted, lazy journalism.

Does Dled actually believe that we are incapable of seeing through his attempts to mislead us into believing that his work is professional, investigative journalism??

Who the **** is in charge of his performance?  Doesn't he have someone to answer to at the AJC?  If so, who is that person?  And I have to ask myself if there is such a person, then are they smart enough to distinguish between high & low levels of journalistic prowess?  Are there no checks & balances in place to ensure their team is performing at a level of expertise worthy of representing big city newspapers?

Who does Dled report to and who does that person report to?  We may have the blind leading the blind here.  If anyone can find out who the top two supervisory people are above Dled, please post it up.  If we all correspond with these people, at least they'll begin to understand that our expectations are MUCH higher & perhaps something might be done to improve things.  If they have no idea of how long everyone has been dissatisfied, then perhaps they will recognize the urgency in our plea for better reporting.

I'm pretty certain there are talented high school kids, with journalistic aspirations, who could outperform Dled.  This newspaper is very poorly run to say the least.

One final thought.  It's a privilege to be a journalist with intimate access to our team.  It's probably a highly sought after position with a long line of people who would consider it a blessing to have that job.  It garners a level of high expectation and rightly so.  If Dled's position were open, there would probably be an onslaught of over-qualified people rushing the doors of the AJC to interview for it.  How is it that the AJC accepts sub standard quality with regard to their employees? C'mon man!!

The AJC and ESPN are the same to me.

It's not even what they report.  A buch of PC crap or only covering drama queen stuff... whatever.  This goes deeper than that.  It's the substandard way in which it gets reported.  Use whatever adjectives you may.  Unprofessional, lazy, boring, error-prone, etc etc etc...  It's just not good.  None of us expect perfection because that is impossible.  But a level of skill that is on par with his colleagues around the country would probably be a good place to start.  I mean this is not Mayberry RFD, it's Atlanta, Ga.

Probably a combination of seniority and affirmative action. (I'm a huge believer in affirmative action but Ledbetter is beyond horrible...he's honestly a bad joke)
