D.B.N.
Getting pass rushers to help take pressure off Beasley has to be #1 on the offseason priority list. Get a pass rushing DE, faster LBs (who can also blitz) and if Hageman & Jarrett improve we will be looking a lot better. I'm confident Vic will be "that guy" for us on defense. Everyone hating on him expecting him to come in to the worst pass rushing unit in the league and put up 10 sacks alone was dillusional. TheeTKOBeatz
Watching this montage I can't help but notice that him and clay were often holding meetings at the QB...man they had some nice chemistry this year, hope we retain Clayborn too

The problem was that a lot of times our linebacker play was so abysmal (Worrilow/Durant), QBs were just dumping the ball out before they could finish. Better and faster LBs is gonna help that pass rush. Edited February 14, 2016 by FentayeJones
THEHEADCOACH
Putting clay at DE seemed alot better. Hopefully we keep him and use him there alot more. Vic will be good as soon as the talent around him improves. Our LBs were terrible this year.
*Old Pappy Falcon*
I'd admit also, I wasn't thrilled with the guy and was thinking a bad pick again. My son was telling me different and said, "just give him time and you will see." I did lol, I have come to like Vic Beasley and see nothing but promise for us! Like him! Rise
Draft Floyd..... Alternate the both of them between LDE and RDE, and RDE and WOLB.... All kinds of havoc-makers for a franchise lackinf it...People here talk about LB as a need..Well, Beasley is listed as one by some sports media, and he probably should not add much more mass...Floyd can gain more..The Falcons should not Don't rest on Beasley (Like Abraham before).. E. T.
This kid has a bright future... needs to put a finishing touch on strength and technique. Notice in the vid, he is good from the right or left side.
Hashbrown3
Vic Beasley is the real deal. When he was there for our pick a year ago, there was not a question who we would take. He was the type of pick that our rivals just cringed over. DQ has one **** of a player on his hands and we are all going to come to love him like we loved Abe. (remember abe? the last true difference maker we went after?) That video shows how many ways he could wreak havoc all over the field. His first year was a success considering the help he had & understanding he played through a torn labrum. That shows he has the nfl grit that is so admired in this league. His speed/power ratio is just sick too. Dude is lightening in a bottle that can throw up 35 reps which rivals even the strongest nfl linemen. Double dip on D in rounds 1 & 2 and our dreams of a Falcons badazz D will begin to come true. If you're like me, watching a wicked D is so gratifying. It just allows you to appreciate football for what it's supposed to be. We hit a nice one with Vic Beastley. He'll make others around him even better. If we can get a Billings or a Rankins or a Smith or a Spence or a Dodd... Then a Thompson, Bell, Cash, Cravens, or Brothers... then we could potentially have a revolution! He has been good in coverage (rare), way better against the run than I expected and with help from the other side, he will turn his hurries into sacks. Glad he is a Falcon and cannot wait to see what type of player he develops into. Some of those tackles he beat were seasoned All Pros. And that was just with his raw ability. Quinn has a very nice chess piece on defense to groom for the future. I just imagine with a healthy shoulder and his first offseason with an NFL weight training program he's gonna open some eyes next year. If you look at our hurries, we had a ton of them last year. Those are the plays that go from hurries to sacks with adequate coverage in the flats. atljbo
One of the main reasons i did this video is that when i had a chance to look at the games again... I saw more pressures then i saw when i watched the games live (with no emotions) .... I had more clips but Goldberg song can only play but so long ya know..lol But honestly Vic Beasley had a solid season... Beasley def need to continue to improve and i think talent around him will help him improve some also...
