2  things that makes me think we will take a WR early

1. We have Julio and 3 slot WRs... We need a WR that can win on the outside. He tried to find one in hankerson

2.In that article that has Quinn saying that he is learning to scout WR's .. He said we would be in trouble .. We need another big play option.

When I say early round I'm not saying in the 1st round .... But I do think the 2nd and 3rd round are options .

I do think FA will help decide that tho

I also don't rule out that big play receiver could end up being a drafted or free agent TE. In fact, I think this team gets way more bang for the buck if we get a good TE who can block, split the seam and catch and make plays in the red zone than if we just get a big play WR to team with Julio. I think we can match up better against defenses if we have this type of TE.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank on if he wants Roddy White to be on the roster when Mercedes-Benz Stadium opens (2017): "The answer is, of course, yes." But Blank said the decision on White's future with the team will be made by Dan Quinn and the staff, not the owner.

Restructure his contract or be cut. No one said he was a free agent. Try to keep up ..... smh

Roddy is only getting paid 3.5 million, his cap number is higher due to how they structured his contract. I'm not sure what is accomplished by restructuring the contract again, we have plenty of cap space and the 3.5 is less than we were paying HD as a 3.

Roddy is worth keeping on as a Falcon. Great for Locker room, for our star WR Julio, and young guns learning the ropes. He is an Atlanta icon and invaluable.

Roddy disrupted the locker room last year and has in the past years after crying to the media. Julio will be fine by him self and can teach young wrs "the ropes". On top of all that roddy sucks and has for a while now. Get over your self.

If your claims were true why was Roddy one of the veterans who lead the players only meeting. He was one of the few players who publicly defended his quarterback and declared the offense would improve but you calling it crying.

His peers respect him, the coaches respect him but of course you know better.

Probably one of the dumbest posts I've seen in a while.

I guess you're in the boat that says Roddy's statements about the offense were the reason we went on a 6 game slide?

When it comes to the Falcons receivers, I am not worried. Roddy is a good procession receiver and should be used as such just like Hardy should be too. Roddy is a competitor and a leader, and you need guys like that. When I think of guys not earning their keep, I think of William Moore, Tyson Jackson, Brooks Reed and Toililo.

I want the Falcons to make defense the number one priority, and cut the weak and get new players that play smart and with an attitude. The defense as it is, really only has about 5 guys Trufant, Beasley, Jarrett, Alford, and maybe Hageman) who are worth building around, and the rest are really just mediocre to below average NFL talent.

The offense as it is, really only has about 5 guys Ryan, Julio, Freeman, Jake, and maybe Shraeder) who are worth building around, and the rest are really just mediocre to below average NFL talent.  lol
