#Falcons are set to hire former #Cowboys DBs coach Jerome Henderson as passing game coordinator on D, I'm told. Will cause some tinkering

In addition to coaching WRs, Raheem Morris will also assume a role alongside OC Kyle Shanahan as the Falcons passing game coordinator.

giving a defensive point of view to the O...

Like the role Eric Mnagini took with the 49ers when he was there TE coach/ senior offensive consultant .. To give the OC a DC point of view attack a gameplan ....

Thats my guess

It's not totally unheard of for a coach to switch sides of the ball. Mike Nolan actually coached wide receivers for a few years in Baltimore. But I don't like it. Raheem's entire career has been on the defensive side of the ball and we've got a premium talent on the roster. I don't like putting his career or the development of the rest of the receiving corp in the hands of a guy who I don't think has ever even coached on the offensive side of the ball.

MIke Nolan, Josh McDaniels, Eric Mangini are just a few to coach on both sides of the ball. It happens.
