brown bomber
Joshua PerryDeion JonesDarron LeeSua CravensThey all can run and cover. But if we can get Trevathan in FA and put him in the middle, that would eliminate Perry. I believe Lee and Cravens go late 1st to early 2nd. That leaves Jones who I don't think will get out the 2nd rd. Especially after the combine. He would fit perfect in the mid range of rd 2 and in Quinn's fast and physical style of play. Adam25
I love Lee and Cravens. Cravens I think is going to slip a bit due to size, but if it's Lee we like why not trade back and accumulate more picks since we only have 5 ? Lee would be a great addition to go with Trevathan. kiwifalcon
Hey OP have you eliminated Jaylon Smith out of the equation as I see him better than all of those guys mentioned.
datchrisb1
All except Joshua Perry IMO.
AndySG
Smith and Myles Jack, too, although they obviously have injury concerns.
Smiler11
I don't think Perry fits the mold.
Bobby.Digital
I'm starting to like Cravens at 17. Although I see him as a S in this scheme.
brown bomber
Perry is not as fast as the others but to be 254 I've seen him run stride for stride down field in coverage.
HEIST
Montese Overton
Arkridge
I'm starting to like Cravens at 17. Although I see him as a S in this scheme.I've always seen him as more of a safety as well.
DonDaLuvMaker
Yeah, Cravens would be a SS/LB hybrid player under Quinn. He will be able to be a an enforcer roaming the field. The guy is a playmaker.
DonDaLuvMaker
Are either Durant or Reed able to be cut without much dead money this off-season?
brown bomber
Are either Durant or Reed able to be cut without much dead money this off-season?I think Durant will be gone but Reed is here for another year or two. I see us getting a LB'er in both FA and the draft.
g-dawg
Reed cannot be cut because of his contract - would cost you more to cut him than keep him.
1989Fan
Eric Striker, OKL - used to rush a lot, but has good athletisism, and can def run and hit.Cravens fits the mold of past USC safeties. The question is, does he translate to Polamalu or Taylor Mays in the NFL?We need a game changing athlete at LB though. That said if Jack or Smith are there, you take them at 17 and dont even question it. We need a Keuchly, David, Wagner tpye in the worst way for this D. brown bomber
Montese OvertonOverton is more of a rush LB'er. Same as Lee. We need the traditional LB'er. Overton does have speed tho.
1989Fan
Nah, Lee can def play sideline to sideline. Reminds me of a Lavonte David type.
brown bomber
Nah, Lee can def play sideline to sideline. Reminds me of a Lavonte David type.Lee avoids contact too much for me. They use him about 50/50 as a traditional and rusher.
chris2010
Really like Jones from LSU and feel we could move him to MLB.
Guest
Smith tore both his acl and mcl. It will be at minimum a year if ever that he is back to full strength and trusting in it. I dont want to spend a 1st on a ? That won't start. We have too many needs to take that risk imo
A-TowN.-
Perry is not that quick or athletic as some of the others you mentioned.
#1ATLFALCONSFAN
I really like Lee based on the little I've seen him play. He reminds me a lot of the smaller, faster LB's DQ had in Seattle.

It won't necessarily take him a year to recover. ShanghaiDirtyBird
Exaggerating. It won't necessarily take him a year to recover. See Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, Tyrann Matheiu, Thomas Davis, etcA lot of those guys are elite athletes, which is exactly what Jaylon is. He's one of those freaks. I think he bounces back strong, but I don't know if I want him so early. He definitely will not be full strength until towards the end of the year, even if he can still play at a fairly high level before then
