Hashbrown3
I decided to take a look at some of the DE/DT's and watch a few games on tape. I am very impressed with this guy. Inside or Outside he is a man. I think he has Bennett type of athleticism to wreak havoc in the backfield on both running plays and passing plays. Tell me what you guys think after reviewing his play against two powerhouses in Ole Miss & Alabama... #
DMT11
Theres some solid talent in front 7 this year - best part of the draft, Idd like to double down and go this route with 1st two picks at least.
Lornoth
He has potential, that's for sure. Not sure I'd go with him in the 1'st though, he needs to work on getting off blocks when passrushing.

Bigtime DMT. This is one of the best Dline years I have seen in some time. Double down and possibly even move up in the 2nd if we can do it at a fair price. Not sure I'd go with him in the 1'st though, he needs to work on getting off blocks when passrushing. Here's the thing though Lornoth, I watched Deforest Buckner from Oregon who many have rated as the 2nd best DE in the nation. CBS has him rated above Shaq Lawson as do others. On tape, Bullard just imposes his will both inside and outside and pound for pound looked like he wreaks havoc and affects the game much more than Buckner. Now keep in mind, I am thinking along the lines of a guy who Quinn can move around. Check this out. I chose TOP level competition for film in 2015! Alabama and Ole Miss were bigtime this year. That kid dominated Alabama. Now I chose another top level team this year while observing Buckner. Look at this film of him against Michigan State and tell me who you want at DE? IDK man, maybe Deforest Buckner has more upside and they say he's better then Arik Armstead from a year ago. But for my money, right now, I love Bullard. I had no idea he was that tough. Here is Buckner against Mich St. Not sure we want another speed guy to pair with Beasley. I think Bullard from Florida could replace Jackson and be way more disruptive for the falcons. Hashbrown3
I'm not stating that he is my guy in the first, but we could do much worse imo. Love the straight DT's in this draft a lot. This guy seems like he is interchangeable and brings much value if we had him.
capologist
Yes, Bullard is definitely a Bennett type player (although he's behind Lawson IMO) but the other thing I really like about Bullard is that you won't see him take plays off... Lornoth
Yeah I'd definitely want him to be our LE. He seems to set the edge really well, but his burst off the line is very impressive as well. He could be a good guy to get so that we don't have to specialize our run/pass packages so much. I'm just not sure if he screams 1'st round to me. If he ends up as a 2'nd rounder I'd be much more interested. You've definitely got me interested in him over the next few months though. kiwifalcon
Hash No to Bullard from me I'm not seeing it.Positives yep he has a motor yes he is solid against the run yes I see a explosive first step and I see some hand usage.Negatives he's not getting there enough for me yes he can play inside but doesn't look disruptive when he is inside and gets tied up to easily. To me he lacks real moves inside and isn't aggressive enough with his hands.Whose the RT from OLE Miss I thought goes alright. Hashbrown3
Bosa & Buckner may both well be gone. Thus, I began looking at the other guys. Shaq and/or Bullard could very well be there and I like them both. It's like a kid in the candy store. Between Shaq/Bullard and any top 3 DT's... wowza,... there will def be talent!!There is no way in **** the falcons could possibly be so ignorant as to select a MLBer like Reggie Ragland, a 2 down ILB, at #17 of the 1st Rd.The more I look at this draft, the more it looks like there will be some nice players at 17. It can't get here soon enough.
Francis York Morgan
If I had my way, Buckner or Myles Jack would somehow fall to 17. As that's increasingly unlikely (pull a Shane Ray pls) I'm really struggling with what we ought to do with the 17th pick. Put dat trust in Quinn. Sobeit
Yeah I put him in a make shift mock last night. Been watching him for a while he is about my favorite defensive linemen prospect in this draft. At this point he kind of looks like a 2nd rounder but I think he may rise some depending on his combine. He is a gamer for sure.

Prior to his injury we had no hope of seeing him anywhere after the first 5 picks. Jack would be a gift at 17 too. Things are setting up quite well for a team with our specific needs. I'm sure you and I would agree quite a bit on who might be best for our club once the options presented themselves at 17 on draft day Kiwi. Clark Kent™
Definitely. Made a thread on him a few weeks ago in the NFL Draft section. Probably my favorite player in the draft. HIs game vs Tennessee was a completely dominating performance by him. One of the best games i've seen from a defensive player in this draft. JiveAF
Take it for what it's worth. NFL comparisons are out. Jack is compared to NaVarro Bowman. Jaylon Smith is compared to Derrick Johnson.Kevin Dodd is compared to Michael Bennett. Shaq Lawson is compared to Courtney Upshaw. Buckner is compared to Callasis Cambell
g-dawg
I am lukewarm on Bullard - don't love him but don't hate him either.Agree with sentiments that this is a great front 7 draft and we need to take players in first two rounds from front 7 positions.
