Mike Smith Presser With The Bucs For Those Interested

Actually it was a very clear answer and more involved than most coaches get into with that question. He said clearly they will be a 4 man front but then he expounded about how there really isn't much difference alignment-wise between a 3-4 or a 4-3.

Thank you for clearing that up. Now there's a chance that 100% of the board will understand it rather than 2%.

I seriously don't get the hate for this dude. He's coaching for a division rival so of course I hope he fails year-to-year, but some of these responses are WAY more personal than all that.

Smitty is a class act. He looks refreshed and happy. I'm glad for him.

OK I like smitty. But he is just clueless. He barely made complete sentences and then tries to sell that this is the only place he would have come to coach. I mean, I was lol'ing at his description of McCoy. "He's a Dline guy who is disruptive from the Dline, when he is lined up at that dline...LMAO!

And apparently he will install the "multiple" defense! Over shift you in a 4-3. Over shift and you are in a 3-4....Really Mike? You sure English is your first language?

HAHA good luck Tampa. Oh man you need it.

no that's not what he said, what he said was that was the only DC job he would have taken, since it was working with Dirk......

fanatics. I'm not shocked. I'm more shock when grown men resort to name calling over a game. One "adult" in this thread knows who he is. But some people are just immature. Perhaps I shouldn't be shock

I mean, that last question, the reporter teed it up for Smitty to piss on the Falcons' organization and stamp it with his boot heel, and he refused. They asked, basically, "doesn't it suck that they fired you after 2 losing seasons, lol?"

He responded, basically, "them's the breaks, but I think we've got a great coach here in Coach Koetter and he's the right guy to lead this organization."

Class. Act. Haters can eat it.

He mentions the reality of it all toward the end, he says "The business"....... That kinda says it all in my opinion....

LOL .. if you think about it. It's all corporate teams now. The Metlife Giants, The Boeing Seahawks, The Verizon Falcons, and so on and so on.

It's more like cheering for Kmartlaugh.pnglaugh.png

He looks like the year off did him some good. He seemed to be in a good mood and really excited. This is going to be a tough division for some time now. It was interesting him saying that he had a process and hinted that maybe there was a rift with them as far as how to build the team. I wonder if he was referring to the trades that cost us the draft picks.

I hope the Smitty and company sweep the Saints and Panthers I'm hoping they dont do so good against us but I think this rivalry just got turned up a couple of notches. Quinn better stop treating division games the same as other games cause this division is getting serious.
