OK I like smitty. But he is just clueless. He barely made complete sentences and then tries to sell that this is the only place he would have come to coach. I mean, I was lol'ing at his description of McCoy. "He's a Dline guy who is disruptive from the Dline, when he is lined up at that dline...LMAO!

And apparently he will install the "multiple" defense! Over shift you in a 4-3. Over shift and you are in a 3-4....Really Mike? You sure English is your first language?

HAHA good luck Tampa. Oh man you need it.

I have to agree with you... Didn't make a lot of sense. He is a really nice guy and is probably an amazing grandfather but I only felt better hearing his PC that he's not our head coach any longer

Thanks for the heads up on the press conference otherwise I would have missed it.

Comparing Smitty to Quinn, there really is no comparison, Smitty always seems calm and doesn't seem to project that sense of urgency that DQ does. Smitty's one heck of a great defensive coordinator. I'm happy for Smitty simply because he seems like a genuinely good person. Although I will say I got the impression he didn't have much say the last couple years for the Falcons as to who their players would be.

It's going to make playing Tampa a lot more fun with DK & Smitty on their staff vs. the Falcons during the season.

I have the utmost respect for Mike Smith as a person, but in the Spirit of FUN here in the now offseason, here is a preview pic of Smitty selling his coaching PRODUCT to the "BUCS" defensive players when they face the FALCONS........

Actually it was a very clear answer and more involved than most coaches get into with that question. He said clearly they will be a 4 man front but then he expounded about how there really isn't much difference alignment-wise between a 3-4 or a 4-3.

Right off the bat

"Hey good evening, or afternoon, or whatever day it is."

Uh what?

LOL.........yeah, I started feeling sorry for him........all over again........after his "eloquent" beginning.

Poor Smitty.......a Jr. college guy who somehow woke up one day in the NFL world.

Maybe Disney will make a movie about him one day........LOL.
