usmcdirtybird
I am starting this thread and do not have any idea of a person we could go after. A player like Rudy Gay would cost too much and would take away many different important pieces of our team. Any suggestions?
blkbigdog35
Honestly I don't think coach Bud would consider a trade. We definitely need a 3 and a big who can play inside. If I had to move someone in a trade I would go with horford then maybe Teague.
DirtybyrdGA
I don't know either, but I guess reports will come in several weeks.

usmcdirtybird
Thaddeus Young maybe.Living in NY, I watch the Nets on television sometimes and I like his game. Him and Lopez are what they want to build the team around.
jayu70
If we are still trying to compete THIS season. With the emergence of Dennis, trade:Jeff Teague for Ryan AndersonJeff Teague (+filler) for Thad YoungJeff Teague for Taj GibsonJeff Teague (+filler) for Gallinari
falconstwopercentsized
Horford is looking for a max, hawks are going to let him walk. That NBA tv guy on 929 said Howard is all but signed here for next year.

RHEC
Hawks need to do something, they were frauds last season.
usmcdirtybird
I would love a low cost move like Jamal Crawford type (not him but similar) to come off the bench and bomb. We are not going to get a Small forward like Rudy Gay but a piece to help the second unit would be nice or a six man.

Mr.11
It would be a dream if we could sign Kevin Durant. Trade Horford for a solid center and a draft pick maybe. Instant title contenders.
Quest
Might not be realistic but how about this.... Teague and Splitter for Noah and Gibson?

We get much needed front court depth and not only that but we also get to see a slight glimpse of the Noah/Horford pairing before Horford makes his decision as to whether he wants to leave or not. Who knows? Maybe getting Noah over here to back him up isn't such a bad thing. Plus Gibson behind Sap makes Muscala tradable for a decent piece at the 3. Maybe something like Muscala+1st for Covington?
Quest
I might be on some 2k stuff but this lineup is interesting.... But they provide what we don't have as of now. Elite rim protection and superior rebounding. Look don't get me wrong I want to keep our core guys together like Teague,Horf,Sap,Korver, etc. but we gotta consider moving someone like Splitter,Teague,or someone in order to get better because as of right now this is Lebrons Eastern Conference to lose and from what we've seen what gave the Cavs the most struggles last season with a healthy Love and Irving was a good mix of our offensive effiecency and the grit and toughness that Chicago has in their lineups, and with this deal IMO we're getting the best of both worlds. Quest
Also on a 2nd note even if we was to make this deal we'd still have players to space and run. I mean I traded away Splitter and Teague. Neither are lights out shooters.... And only Teague is a guy who is known to run the floor like a flash.

Neither of those guys are elite at anything in 2016. They are old and hurt. Especially Noah.
Quest
Anyone think the Jazz would send Favors/Hood for Jeff/Muscala? A front court rotation of Favors,Horf,Sap,Scott, and Splitter is nice! Plus we get a good developmental SG/SF too
