Does No One Know How To Finish?

The more football you watch the more you appreciate that the supposed issues the Falcons have are not uncommon.

That's a really good defense that just gave up 4th and 20. If that happened to Atlanta this board would be inconsolable. You wouldn't be able to tell anyone that this isnt the worse team ever.

I actually thought the blitz on 4th and 20 was a great call.

Just shows how good Aaron Rodgers is to me he's the best in the league no question.

Your points are very valid though.

As well as the Packers giving up that hail mary, or that ridiculously long pass to Fitz in OT.

My initial thought, everytime, was "wow AFMB would have a field day if that happened to the Falcons"

The QBs always get the glamour on hail Mary passes, but all they do is heave it into a crowd. The receivers do all the work.

On the topic, the league has become so watered down due to the emphasis on cheap, young athleticism that the savvy vets aren't their to handle pressure situations.

It was a much better league from a quality standpoint when teams were older and more experienced, even if they were slower and cost more.

I miss the days where you could pound toughness into a team during camp.

This is also the reason I love watching the San Antonio Spurs more than any other team. Team chemistry and veterean experience makes for some really awesome moments in prime time.
