DonDaLuvMaker
Born in Columbus, GA.Grandmother had been a huge fan since the franchise started. She heard(radio) and watched every game up until her death in 2012.I remember me and her watching Deion taking it to the house.Sad that she will never see the Falcons win a SB. Godzilla1985
My dad worked for a guy that had season tickets in the early 70s and he took my dad to games then. He became a fan early and I basically grew up a fan.
ramonezy
I'm from Jamaica (the island, not NY). Became a Falcons fan by playing Tecmo Super Bowl on Sega Genesis... Andre Rison, Jessie Tuggle, Deion Sanders. Didn't get the chance to really watch the games though until early 2000s
Moist Words
I'm thinking karma for something I did in a past life.Moved to Ga from Beaufort, SC when I was 5 and was a Braves fan first. It was the 98 Season that I became a Falcons fan.
Derrty Berrd33
Been watching them since 1991 with my dad. South Georgia (Fitzgerald). Was 9 then. Mc Hammer,Holy field on the sidelines!! Deion, case, tuggle, mckyer, haynes, rison, miller, and ol' billy joe tolliver. Good old days. But became a DIE HARD FAN on Oct 20, 2002 vs Carolina. (1st time going to watch them in the dome) swept panthers 71-0 that year. We finished 9-7-1.
usmcdirtybird
I have been an all Atlanta fan. I remember my first game was against the Steelers. We had a 9-0 le4ad. Lost 21-9. I loved the Glanville era. It brought us the Falcons singing 2 LEgit 2 Quit and two blow outs by future champion Washington Redskins. Snafu
Grew up in Macon, Ga. Always had a passing interest and would watch big games that people were excited about. Joined the military in '03 and that's when I became a die hard. They kinda gave me a connection to home while living in other places. MoFalconsFan56
The greatest show on turf introduced me to football when I was like 10, thought football was a cool sport and decided to choose my own team. I didn't like that I was supposed to be a fan of the home team simply just because, so I picked a football team that had cool colors and Michael Vick
MoFalconsFan56
I was ALMOST a Bears fan because of Urlacher but I chose Atalanta, not many people know that
Miller2Rison
Grew up in Chattanooga, my dad, uncle, and cousin took me to my first Falcons game in 1988 at FCS. I was 4 years old, we played and beat the cardinals. I had a Cardinals and falcons pin it on my wall in my room growing up. NCFalconfan
Born and raised in Charlotte where we didn't have a team and my grandparents lived in Atlanta so I spent many summers down there as a youth. So I just naturally adopted all of Atlanta's teams as my favorites. I'm not a bandwagon ********* so I didn't abandon my teams with Charlotte eventually got their own. Ezekiel 25:17
Well this aint for the weak of heartfirst you need understand the true meaning of anger and having your heart broken a couple times. If your ok with that then you need to decide are you the PSL buying type or not and if not, and you have a lot of emotion and opinions--well we will vote you in or out on this board (kidding). Oh you have to have a decent knowledge of the the current roster, depth chart and a working understanding of offensive and defensive schemes. If your good with all that--then welcome to being a Falcon Fan!Didn't ask you why are you "STILL" a falcon fan OR what you have had to put up with.... But to answer the ACTUAL question... I can't remember the exact moment as I was born into this(Atlanta Native born and raised). But I would calculate it somewhere around 1977 as that is when I became old enough to understand and hurt behind sports.. That puts me 3 years before the biggest Sports loss in Atlanta history to the Dallas Cowboys in January or 1981. No loss has been as divesting! but I digress... Lornoth
Hated the Ain'ts before I liked any NFL team. I liked the players and attitude of the Falcons a lot, and thought their logo/uniforms were best in the league. Only later did I learn how perfect a match it was. *Old Pappy Falcon*
Most of my family are from Ga. Savannah. Born in South Carolina, but raised in my younger years in Atlanta as a child. My father worked at Grady as a boiler operator. During the day I loved to climb stone mountain! My mother wanted to go back to south Carolina with her family and that about broke my heart lol.My love for Ga will never, ever leave my soul.Soo many Good, Beautiful people that the world should be jealous.Started watching football in the early 70's, and just fell in love with a team and a state that forever captured my heart. People hate me in south carolina, because I love everything Ga............I'll pray for them. Because when I see my people in Ga, it's all love that money can't buy. chazbykr
It happened in 1966. I was walking down the street and this wish fairy appeared and asked me what I wanted. I popped off "all my life I've had bad luck" and before I could continue she said "so it goes; you're a Falcon fan"
