What do you guys think about the Dobbs kid out of Clemson? The OTHER defensive end from Clemson? He dominated the Bama right tackle and was unblockable in the NC game. Outside of DeShaun Watson, Dobbs was the most impressive Tiger in that game.

you mean Kevin Dodd. i saw a recent mock nfl draft and they had him going to the falcons in the first round.. i would love to see him become a falcon.

yes, that is who I meant - thanks! Yeah I would like him as well - not sure about 1st round though. Think he is more of a 2nd rounder type.

yeah it's an early mock so who knows. we will know more after the combine once his measurables (40 times, bench press, size and height, etc) are available. those nfl scouts love those measurables.

wow, he is coming out high in CBS rankings as they have Dodd at #33 overall. He had 12 sacks and 23.5 TFLs his junior year as well - that is wildly productive.

My guess is he goes somewhere between #20-#40 right now - like you said though, it's early.

could care less. He will be a good NFL back but I don't see NFL greatness in him.

you will hear people incorrectly compare him to eddie george because he runs straight up.. however they would be very wrong.. he isn't like eddie george because eddie was able and did it often by getting his pad level lower. that's one thing eric dickerson and eddie george had in common. both guys ran upright, but both were very good at lower their shoulders and getting that pad level down consistently. that's something henry doesn't do a good job of and due to his running style he won't be running over safeties and linebackers at the next level so he is going to be taking more punishment than he should and that will shorten his career. he is a good rb that should go in the middle rounds.

Dodd is legit. He was giving Bama's o line fits and had a very consistent season. And Beasley will be fine. The Falcons need a lot of help on both sides of the line.

Tired of seeing the birds pass on good players to draft guys from nowhere who don't even last. Tired of seeing our best players leave and get replaced by Walmart greeters.

Sounds like a GM problem to me. Fire Dimitroff.
