quickzero
I don't care about any other move the Falcons make this off season. I think they will be in good shape moving forward, but we need Treadwell, Hunter Henry or both to help take the pressure off Ryan and Jones. I know we need talent on the O line and front seven and a safety but Ryan needs some new toys and fast.

Robb4242
Lol...NO!! Ryan needs time in the pocket!Wouldn't have much of a problem if the Falcons took Henry in the 3rd, but yeah, Tredwell isn't at all what we need out of this draft. Wjcorner
If Treadwell is at 17 he's probably the best prospect in place by a long shot. And people need to stop tricking themselves into thinking this team is going to be fixed after this offseason. If WR is our best option at 17 we shouldn't pick a worst prospect to try and rush this rebuild. It's one of the problems we faced with Smitty's reign truthfully. Falconised
So we just let one of the best playmakers go to some other team?Bro we don't need another threat like Julio on the other side all we need is more depth in the supporting cast.Personally I'm not looking till the 3rd round and then it's a TE. Robb4242
So we just let one of the best playmakers go to some other team?Nah, we just steal the first 17 picks of the draft & take them all.

If Jaylon Smith is there at 17, then, even injured, is going to be the best prospect on the board, and he fills a position that we desperately need to upgrade. Halsey.
You know who was good at protecting Ryan? Tony Gonzalez, because Ryan could just toss it to him real quick when the pocket was collapsing.

HASHBROWN3
OK, to even mention a RB pick is just irresponsible to me considering all the needs on this team. TBH, I truly don't see WR with our 1st pick either. I do think the big WR as an exceptional talent but he will go before us anyways. He has nowhere near JJ speed. I'd say he runs in the 4.5's...No offense OP, I just disagree with the positions you feel we need to address. Plain and simple.

The Great American
Treadwell was one of the best players in Rebels history. He's going to be a great asset to some pro team. I just hope he lands in the ATL.
FalconFanSince1969
Atl fans and their fascination with receivers astounds me. Ryan didn't have enough time in the pocket to consistent find the best wr in the NFl so what's the solution? Draft another receiver!
birdz4i
not sure who these people are, but if they are toys for ryan, they need to be down the list.
Gold4425
We have to address the OL, DL and LB's in FA. It is too much of a gamble to ask a rookie OL to come in and start. There is a learning curve. Look at Matthews he had his up and downs and he was borh into football. If we can take care of that I want L. Treadwell and O. J. Howard. DQ will have our D together but those 2 guys with JJ, DF, MR, RW, and JT and we are EXPLOSIVE! We do need Treadwell we lucked up last year JJ didn't get hurt. The Great American
Treadwell is not some toy. He's a high quality person that would make a great Falcon on and off the field.

falconsfan4life3
Doesn't matter. He is not a need. It's like you guys learn absolutely nothing from year to year. Except he is a need and to say Ryan never had time to throw is wrong. Also I love watching Julio break records but id rather him not catch 130 balls again because he's gonna wear down faster taking so many hits. We desperately need another WR to take the heat off him. HASHBROWN3
Look, we have our unquestioned #1 WR. We have Hardy coming into his own with RW still contributing. There is a requirement for another WR, however, not necessarily over other positions of need in the first round.
zekeyboy1
"And to say Ryan never had time to throw is wrong". Now that, I agree with...But wr in rd 1? No....Would much rather draft a stretch the field TE in the 2nd or 3rd. That'll help Julio out more than another wr will imo...Teams arent worried about Jacob Tamme beating them, Trust me.,..
