texasfalconfan
With only 5 picks in the draft, and a need to upgrade several starters, free agency will be the key. I say that to say this we have a tendency to overspend and usually on injury prone players or get players who have declined to the point of being unserviceable. I have seen a lot of discussion about the league being fixed cause the same old teams keep winning. The reality is those teams tend to attract the good free agents and can get them signed for a more fair price. For some reason we do not typically attract the good free agents which I don't get, Atlanta has mild winters, a lot of stars in the league are from the sec which means home to them is in the south. The only reasons I can come up with is our history of not winning, or a lack of respect for our coaches and front office. I'm hoping Dan Quinn's relationships with players from Seattle and Florida, shanahans connections with wash, and Cleveland, can net us three or four solid starters, otherwise we will be average agin next year

MACK4ttACK
We beat the panthers. After having gone through a full season with Shannyhan, the Offense can only get better. The defense was good. Next year playoffs, then year after (2017) SUPER BOWL!
Five_Fifs
Free agency will be no more vital than other years.... Not having a 5th or 6th round pick isn't going greatly change our offseason. It's not like we're missing a 1st and a 3rd..... We may see a small trade back to recoup a 5th or 6th, and might be less likely to trade up... But in terms of FA, you don't change your aggressiveness or position strategy over a 5th or 6th rounder

Even in the second round we could probably get another 4th rounder.
Sponge
Don't expect a big splash, just a bunch of slightly above average fill-ins.
apl2g
I expect them to be pretty active in free agency this year. 1 or 2 big names as usual, and then a bunch of low key yet starter type guys
thanat0s
The team has to find real starters at OC, OG, TE, WR and LB. We can limp through another year at safety, but we are desperate at those spots.
BeRom
Money talks and so do powerful persuaders who can convince that the Falcons are a draft or two from being a consistent contender.
KCartledge85
Would like to see Eric Berry, a C, and a G signed via free agency. If funds are still available, would welcome Irvin.S isn't oureally biggest need, but getting playmaker on the defensive side of the ball is. I don't care what position they play. After that, the draft should be all players for the front 7.

INDFalcon
We need solid 6 starters. 3 on O and 3 on D. We have need for WR, G and C on O and we need MLB, DE and a S on D.If we can fill in 2 or 3 in Off season, rest can be drafted and can also aim for good depth. high impact
Don't forget all the one year deals the Falcons had this year. This team could need more than you think once the free agency period is over.
sandtrap
No player of anyone caliber wants to come to loserville. The owner is an idiotic clown, the fans are clueless and there the citizens were duped into building a new stadium for a losing Franchise. Great to be a Falcons fan.Go dig a hole and stick your head in it. We'll wake you up after we win the super bowl. If it takes many many years, our fans will be better off for it. If it takes many many years, our fans will be better off for it.Yeah great statement for a team that hasn't even come close to touching a ring after only 50 years of existence. Do we need another 50 years? How about 100 years? You let me know cause by the looks of this owner, coaching, players and front office, things aren't looking good. Yes Free Agency is Vital, but as fans, how can we be confident they will bring anyone that can do a **** thing based off the decisions being made the past 8 years? chris2010
Starting C/G and MLB are the keys areas i would focus on in FA. We have to improve in those two areas to progress as a team. Both are at the center of each units and can be considered the foundation of both units.

If they do, it's because they aren't really Porschey enough.
