A-TowN.-
Robinson and Lawson should be the top, and no LBs...LBs look better with a monster D-Line in front of them....Falcons/TD/Pioli/Quinn signed: Reed, Durant, and Schofield.... Do you want Ragland and Worrilow "Competing" in camp, but no significant talent on The D-Line? If they do draft Ragland in the 1st (Alabama runs a 3-4 mostly), they need to trade Worrilow. No "camp competition at all 3 LBs spots".Falcons need D-LIne help. Pass rush help more than in the 1st.3rd- to 5th round LBs "compete" without being named a starter after the draft.I could be good with going DL and LB later on, but let's not pretend like Worrilow, Durant, Reed, and etc will magically improve with better DL play. Worrilow will still be slow to react, take awful angles, and generally plod around. Same with the others. A better DL won't make these guys magically tackle better, they are what they are: mediocre. Rookie defensive line players generally take longer to acclimate to the NFL as opposed to rookie linebackers. So I'd rather get some good veteran defensive linemen and draft linebackers earlier on. I'm not going to watch another dang season with Worrilow as a starter. I will absolutely be sick.
Dirtybird56
If Jack isn't there at 17 I want Nkemdiche bad.. Can't imagine Nkemdiche falls to us even with the off the field stuff but you never know
Five_Fifs
GIVE ME EITHER ONE OF THESE TWO GUYS! I like the kid from UCLA more because he seems NFL ready and polished and his body seems bigger(Jack listed at 225 on his wiki, but at 245 on CBS.com) than Lee's ( lee is listed at 235 on ESPN.com). But they both have the play making skills we need on our line-backing core. Does anyone see the similarities between ALEC OGLETREE and Myles jack? While at UGA, I don't recall Ogletree ever taking on blocks the way Jack does. Ogletree wasn't nearly as refined in coverage either.... He was just athletic as all ****.
tldr
Very unlikely Jack and Ogbah will be on the board. I like Darron Lee and Leonard Floyd as our wlb, both can be the speedy cover will, i.e Telvin Smith, Levonte David. Sua Cravens might be a reach but i really like him, he's a less physical but more rangy Deone Bucannon. Any of these guys will fix our coverage problems. Eight Track
I would do back flips if Atlanta drafted Treadwell. Wow! I don't see him falling out of the top 10.
FalconBlood23
Buckner, to me, seems like Dion Jordan. Yall remember him? He busted in Miami. I don't think I want an Oregon DE. As for Robert, he'd be a bad mofo that can add attitude to our d line. He'll prolly get a few penalties but make up for it with big playes if we do take him, don't think we will though. Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
Does anyone value a SS? I wouldn't put it before D/Oline, but we need to find a starter this off-season.
Ridder Me This
Does anyone value a SS? I wouldn't put it before D/Oline, but we need to find a starter this off-season.I would consider George Iloka from CIN in Free Agency...he is 6'4" 225lbs....plays like an 8th defender in the box...not sure what his market will be though... kiwifalcon
I think we can afford to make 1 splash in FA.For me it has to be at either Safety or C.They are the 2 key spots for mine.A decision needs to be made if Allen is the guy at FS going foward and experience at C to pair with Ryan and a revamped interior is a must.Quinn needs that guy at the back to get his defense to function at the level he's looking for and he know's it.I love Jalen Ramsey but he's simply not falling that far.Fans think we need a SS I say we still need to upgrade at FS instead.Eric Berry is the guy I would target. If we paid him I'd look at Jones but Mack would be my first choice. This opens up the draft or DE in the 1st LBer in the 2nd TE or WRer in the 3rd. "Insensitive" does not describe what I believe I'd read, if reaction to injuries are an indicator.

We were very good against the run. Pass rush needs to improve but I was seeing pressure. The problem was that every time we got some pressure or most the time before we even had a chance to get pressure, the qb would dump it off to a wide open rb or te.Mainly I think the biggest difference maker on this team could be a stud mlb or ss. Ex: look at Carolina and Tampa bay

abcranford2
That being said if you don't see either available then I'd go all out on pass rush. I might even go de in if the right player is there anyway and try to hit on mkb in the 2nd round.
Five_Fifs
I tend to believe we can milk one more year out of Roddy and generally believe in the depth of WR in the draft. For that reason, I am not a fan of Treadwell in the first.I also think the offense wok fix itself. Our biggest issues were self-inflicted. Only Carolina and SF really "stopped" us. We can move the ball as is, we just have hold on to it better and Kyle has to call better plays in close quarters (read: red zone)Invest real money in a guard and a center, and draft a G or Cin the third round or 4th.As long as we're not making reaches, and don't draft CB, I don't think we can go wrong doubling down on defense in the first two rounds. My initial preference is for us to specifically double down on LB. but SS and DL are welcome too.If Jack falls like they have him, I don't wait a second to turn that card in. I'd play him at Mike and follow up with Su'a Cravens in the second, assuming he doesn't rise. I'd play Cravens at Will. Let Durant be a sub for a year and have Worrilow and Wheeler battle it out for back up Mike. Our athleticism in under neath coverage goes from being fringe professional to competent immediately and potentially elite a few years down the line.I know someone is going to say I haven't addressed pass rush. So to more fully flesh out the plan, I target Wallace Gilberry and Mario Wiliams. Mario has played in the scheme before, I believe under Richard Smith. Gilberry is a better pass rush specialist than Kroy. It's time to stock the cupboards on defense Edited January 5, 2016 by Five_Fifs
