netrto4150
If Matt was truly honest he'd rip-up his contract because he knows he's not worth $100m!
me4falcons
A bunch a whinny little girls. (in my fake whinny voice) "I upset with ryan". Matt was having a good game up until the point. 5 drop pass (julio, roddy, tamme....) redzone fumble (Freeman) and a defense that just couldn't stop brees at all and was bailed out by that fumble and a blocked field goal. That in all tells the entire story and the way the season went. A season of miscues.

cblack
Matt makes his mistakes but you can't ignore the fumbles, dropped passes, blocked kicks, and penalties. That int was a great play by Sanford, get over it. That doesnt excuse his horrid play..... why do you feel the need to take focus off of where it rightfully should be. I know 100 mill is the going price for a franchise qb, but d#mn!!! No ones ignoring the other mistakes but this cat is supposed to be that one that wills us to a win, or takes over the game, refuse to let us lose.....lately he is one of the reasons we lose .....your qb cant be the one that sinks you and expect to be where we want to be...smmfh. jb 3.0
We watched your game before we watched the Panthers and Lovie Smith humiliate Jameis and the Bucs once again.Did any of you notice the growth on Ice Pick's lip?It looks like a new statement by Mattie boy. We're calling it the "Artie". He's obviously concerned that Artie's gonna ask him to take a rather large pay cut, and he wants to show his boss why he should keep paying him $20 million a year. That was not a "great" play by Sanford. He pretty much threw right to him into double coverage where he never looked off the defender. RiseUpFalcs
I am sick and tired of hearing opposing linebackers talk about knowing our **** plays. Today's INT was not all Matt Ryan so much as it was a great call by the secondary coach for the Saints and that Sanford nobody. They said in the "what we learned" article on the AJC that Sandord was tipped off on the play presnap and he didn't clear out with the TE. It's horse crap because this is like the 4th linebacker to have said he had telegraphed our offense presnap. It's the same INT Ryan threw earlier this year over the middle. That is scheme and it must be improved on. We cannot have opposing teams knowing our tendencies this well. It's crap and Shanny better fix it.

MoeBiden
He deserves all the hate he is getting. But its still dumb to be done with him over 1 bad season in a new offense. He will get better. And he needs more weapons. Roddy is severely holding this team back at WR in my opinion. I like his leadership and would like to keep him around for that, but he needs to be buried on the depth chart next yearThis has to be a joke100 million dollar qb and our #2 receiver is holding us back. Mr.11
he had no one behind him to worry about, he went balls to the wall and jumped the route. It was a good play man.It was, but he had Julio running open over the top. At least, you would think Ryan would have read the coverage and suspected that the middle was covered. I think that was a time where he needed to push the ball deep, not play conservative. Otherwise, he would have been better off just handing it off to Freeman. I'm not sure Freeman was supposed to be the primary read on that play, because it seemed like (if memory serves me right) that Julio was seeing single coverage. How many times have we seen Ryan just dump off passes in the middle in key situations? mattyicefalcon
Ryan got the big bucks. Got complacent. Dimitrofff & Smitty didn't do **** to create competition at that position. He knows he's a sacred cow and has got Falcons franchise by balls! There's NO effin thing one can do about it……you gotta ride along with him. And hope he doesn't on to dark side. I saw roddy actually wide open on a good bit of plays today. Matt could've hit him for a TD in the middle of the field one time. Another time he over threw him. I agree tho we do need more weapons on the outside.
