Get off ubuntu

It's free. the programs are free. No viruses. It can make a twenty year old laptop walk the dog. My next Windows box is en route but each does things the other doesn't so I keep them both around. Of course lightning hit the Windows box because it was the one that was running at the time.

Yes this started about 4 days ago in chrome. I run windows 10. Refreshing only worked for a short period of time. I started using firefox to see the forums. I thought it was just me. I turned off all my extensions and ran in developer mode ( I am a UI developer for the web). That did not help.

I have scoured the chrome bug list and help forums and noone has really said anything in general about scrolling issues. I am starting to believe it is something wrong with this site. It does have quite a few javascript errors in chrome. The maximum call stack size error from runtime.js in chrome could be the issue. i am not seeing it in the other browsers.

Its funny. Its the Saints game so I restarted my computer and only opened one tab in chrome to try and see the forums with a scrollbar. No such luck. I was glad to see this topic though. I have lurked these forums for over a decade and its hard to watch a falcons game without the gameday thread to console me when we have boneheaded plays.

Ok I jumped the gun. I am a developer and had JavaScript disabled. But at least that's the fix. chrome extension disable html makes it easy to turn JavaScript off just temporarily for this forum. it is definitely being caused by runtime.js. When I get maximum call stack error in chrome or Firefox, which it has now crept into, I lose the scrollbar.

I made 2 accounts last year that got insta banned, like as soon as I clicked create account I was banned.

Never had that problem. Mine was different in that I would click sign-in and nothing would happen. It was like the button was broken. I had trouble just looking at threads because I had to right click on them and open them in new tabs. Just clicking on them did nothing.
