Arkridge
Is he a guy you'd like to see us go after in free agency? In his contract year he was very underwhelming. He spent the majority of the year injured yet has made it known that he wants #1 WR money, something I don't see Chicago giving him. He did post back to back 1,000 yard seasons before this injury riddled year and I guess franchise tag is an option if the Bears are adamant about getting something done with him but I feel the Bears will let him test the market. If he does, I don't see a way he gets #1 receiver money but I think he'd make an incredibly attractive target for a lot of teams and in a passing offense that's bleak outside of Julio, I'd more than welcome the idea of these two lining up on either side. What do you guys think? Lornoth
I bet somebody will fork over #1 money. I personally would think we could do more help at other positions with as much as he'll probably get.
Desert_Falcon
Every year there are teams with too much money. One of those teams will get him.
FentayeJones
If Jeremy Maclin got 10m a year he will get at least 10-12m a year easily. Falcons would be crazy to fork over that kind of money on another receiver, especially with Roddy still on the payroll at 6m per year. If we are going to spend 12m then spend it on O Vernon. jeffro2000
He will get paid by someone.E. Decker got around $7m per a couple of yrs back. With the salary cap increase, and Jeffrey is a bit better I would say he will get $10M per probably. Maybe $25m guaranteed. We need another WR but not at his price with our other needs. Maclin is a better comparison, and I say Jeffery is better than him too.

thanat0s
I'd love to have him, but his asking price is going to be the best argument why Roddy needs to be here another year.

falconcrest58
Id love to have him...but we need to spend our money on defense LB PASS RUSH. I JUST HOPE SOMEONE OTHER THAN TD MAKES THAT DECSION....he's proven over and over again he can't

hjerry
We shouldn't be looking at anyone at WR who could be considered a potential #1 imo.
RYNE
He will get taggedI want Benjamin from Cleveland. He makes a lot of sense and would be a prefect fit with home run type speed opposite Quintorris Lopez

TheRisen999
I think we'll be able to find a #2 receiver in the draft. We need too much in other areas to spend that kind of money on a guy to be a second option.
Dirtybird3
San would be my target too. Lost cost high upside. If by some kind of luck there's an odd man out in Pittsburg and Bryant Coates or wheaton are available
atljbo
we have to much money wrapped up in WR ... I only see us drafting one in the 3rd or 4th round

samueladams
Julio, Matt, White just got paid and you want to pay for him as well??? I think we're be fine with the current WR's we have on hand.
PHALCONABERNATHY
I bet somebody will fork over #1 money. As far as I'm concerned, we are still okay at receiver. As long as Matt has protection he can fling the ball to any of the guys we have now. Especially now that Shanny sees Roddy can be a number 1 or 2 guy still. Way too many other issues to go after another receiver with injury issues at that. Atlfanstckndenver
I love the idea in theory, but realistically speaking, it won't happen. The money issue alone won't allow it, then add in the injury risks and I say no, despite wanting it to happen myself.
