No thanks. Tired of the splashy big ticket 30+ year old free agent signings that almost never make the impact that their hype leads people to believe. If he is so great why does he never win and why is he moving on to his third team? Only interested if it was for a lot less money that what he's made in the past.

he isn't great cause he doesn't win? You guys say some of the silliest things

Holy crap. Johnson is only 29? If we have any shot at making him a Falcon we need to jump on that. He's awesome.

I think he'll be the same age Mario is when he's a free agent after next season. I don't really see a huge difference in that and signing Mario this offseason and I doubt Carolina lets him walk.

Wasnt Johnson the one asking Schofield "Who are you?"

Give me Williams on a 2 year deal. He's an overall very good player. Plays both the run and the pass at more than above average levels.

Give me Irvin as well. We can get both at 15-17/yr. I believe it was stated we'll have something like 35mil in cap room after cuts and releases.

Beasley gets better, re-sign Clayborn.

Wouldn't touch Vernon with a 10ft pole. He's a product of having good players around him. First Wake, then Wake and Suh before Wake went out.

You guys think Houston just let him walk because he was so freaking great?????

What dumb logic. Lmao.

how is Irvin a project?

Perhaps project wasn't the best word but I'd have the same issue I had last offseason if we were to throw a ton of cash at a guy like Derrick Morgan. Good player but you're basically paying him to be a pass rushing stud and he's never done that before. He's just shown glimpses/flashes of it. Sure the argument could be made that he shares snaps with Avril and Bennett but I'd rather gamble on a 30 year old that's proven he can do it than wait for someone to blossom like we did with Ray Edwards, etc.

We should have a ton of cap space. If he's available we need to look into. Much rather us bring in a proven guy with some grabs left in the tank as compared to a project like Irvin where you're hoping he'll turn into a stud.

Irvin isn't a project. He's a hybrid player, that does more that just rush the passer.

They wouldn't be letting him walk. They'd be cutting him, for the same reason that Williams will be cut, too expensive, and need money for younger players.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that remembered the Charles/Scho thing lol. I do like him as a player and respected him before that incident. He's also been a Falcon killer the past few years so I wouldn't mind taking him away.

Quinn is the one that moved Irvin to SLB. So he would be that here. He would be an added piece.
